Solved hello, updating client

hello, just recently got back to playing after 3 months, when i click my client it says need to update, my client version in my NCSOFT folder in program files, version.ini says 4.5.0.31.. can u help me how to update my client...thanks alot in advance guys!

 

The version you are looking for is 4.7.0.8. The only way you could get to that from the client you have now would be to upgrade via the NCSoft launcher, and then downgrade using this guide: http://forum.gameznetwork.com/threads/gamezaion-downgrade-version-4-7-5-x-4-7-0-8.186209/

After you downgrade, you'll need to apply the Gamez Aion Item.pak, which can be found here: http://forum.gameznetwork.com/threads/official-aion-4-7-0-6-item-pak.185075/

However, if you'd like, you can download a 4.7.0.8 client that has the item.pak already from a torrent we have here on Gamez, which can be found here: http://forum.gameznetwork.com/threads/official-torrent-client-4-7-0-8.187217/

You would not need to do anything for this torrent, but it would take some time to download it. The choice is yours.

thank you very much! i would choose the torrent thanks alot! after i download the torrent i would just copy paste that file to the NCSOFT folder and its done? or im downloading the whole NCSOFT folder and replacing the old one?

 

yes you will be doing that, I just downloaded the torrent too and you still need to download the items.pak with the 3 xml files from the latest official gamez itempak thread, its in the guide section. I spent a small amount of time comparing my old client vrsion 4.0 and saving as much as 5gb of the highest file sizes mostly music, movie and mesh and texture packs from 300mb to 40mb because i was saving some time to finish it. if you have a good internet speed then just download the whole thing.
