Every time you want to use Flame Spray, stop and wait for a moment: does your target have the Flame Fusion (or Hot Shot from a gunner) debuff on it? No? Use Storm Strike instead! Same damage, 30% lower mana cost! If it's on cooldown, better go Glacial Shard. Do not use Flame Spray without Flame Fusion on your target, it's totally not worth it at all!
Every time you want to use Summon Rock, stop and remove it from your skill bar. Cast Flame Bolt instead. Same damage, 3 times lower mana cost! Super incredible again! If you don't like Flame Bolt, .. well you better start liking it 'cause it has no cooldown. Summon Rock's damage is a lie D:

Hi, I've been using sorc for almost 4 years. And yes, we do have the same thoughts. Whenever I lock the enemy with altered states i always put the flame fusion and soul freeze on the end to cast a Lava Tempest, Delayed Blast, flame spray and aether's hold which can deal a high damage, low cp consumption + faster cast compared to other nukes. (I'm talkin about the Flame Spray) And for the summon rock. I'll consider it as a tip from you. Thanks for that

Pff exchange vitality>blind leap>spam all your pots and use wintry armor then run back and spam nukes = PROFIT!

 

I played sorcerer in 3.0 version when my glacial used to beat 12k easy i miss those times

 

Btw the summon rock one is intended for PvP - Wind Cut Down would be your PvE alternative, at a 2/3 mana cost.

 

Probably, He's spreading a tip on how to use Sorc on more practical way. Using Exchange Vitality just to exchange your HP for MP is totally a waste. Sorcerer is a squishy class. You should reserve each pot, and esp. Exchange Vitality for HP not for MP.

way back in 3.0 I can hit 14k crit with Glacial using full MB set though.

I;ve never used summon rock in pvp even in pve i use it like once when i've used flame bolt for 40x (instances)
