I'm not informing you about the bug itself, since there was a fix, so clearly you must have been aware of it. But if you are aware of how dreadful it is, then you shouldn't suspend the first active, alternative and working solution presented for this problem in such a short time. Maybe work on a temporary solution, for this temporary suspension, having one specific hour a day when AMs could be available for helping players with this issue, then train the trainees for the rest of the time. There's always a way to work around a problem, it only depends on how much will there is to do so.

Just closing threads and say "it's temporary" is kinda rude and not really adding any information on the matter. Quite redundant. The players also have their rights to express their opinion on the matter and to ask questions about this topic. Closing every attempt for discussion is really not solving any problems.

 

What he's trying to say is.. currently everyone is very busy. You have to understand that there are currently 8 new AMTs, and all of us need training. The SAMs are online everyday trying to guide and help us, and want to postpone the weapon system until they're sure we can handle ourselves. They pretty much want to be devoted to us for a bit, so that we understand and learn things and help you guys.

About your suggestion - yes it does sound good but people would most likely complain. "Why did you help my friend before and not me right now?" = frustration.

You shouldn't be that annoyed by it.. Afterall it is obvious that it is temporary. It is known that this is a very helpful and wanted system and nobody would just end it suddenly after seeing how successful it is. I understand you do want your weapons and nobody said that it is your fault that they are currently unobtainable, but others (and very useful ones) still are

Training 8 new amts is not an easy task. The ham/sams have their hands full with training the new amts. Training takes up a lot of their time. Once they amts are trained enough then the ham/sam can start with the exchange program if the npcs are still not working correctly when that time comes. Until then please be patient with the staff as they are working hard to train/learn.

I understand staff feeding us with bullshit, they do that cuz they have to and even tho it's not fair i accept that simply cuz i was doing same things, but you? You ain't even in staff and yet you're telling me that ham/sams are busy with amts. Please. Idk if you srsly believe that this is true or you just want to lick few butts.

Not to be a dick myself but I personally think that someone who apparently needs to open a thread and bother staff members with watching/closing/removing/etc. it should be the very last one to use the word "rude" against a staff member who is doing his job for clearly longer than a week or something and definitely knows how to behave and answer.

You'd be better discussing this via PM with Dementa instead of opening threads that will be closed within minutes again.

What is this so sophisticated AMT training you speak of that is so hard to pull off? You're saying it as if they're babies. With all due respect but the basics and the essential information can be communicated under 3 days; then comes the part where the AMT must make do and learn from their own mistakes, they must build momentum and get comfortable with their position. Not to mention the entire playerbase is available to help point out what they're doing wrong. What is it that makes a player stand out as a better eventual blue tag bearer if he requires constant babysitting?

It's debatable whether you were right to do so On one hand it's a good thing to help a fellow human learn how questions are asked on the Internet, while it is also true that you'd signed up to do it for them, because you're presumably doing it faster and more effectively. Hard to tell really.
