you can use shout/trade/world in-game . it could help you..

 

You can just simply use LFG ( by pressing "/" + "3" and then space) so that people can notice you. There are still some good players who wants to help without asking anything for a return. However, there are also some that asks for some serums,scrolls etc. as a return after they help you level up.

Anyways, why do you need a mentor? After taking the ascension you'll be asked to choose your desired class and proceed to level 60. (correct me if I am wrong, as I already stopped playing on 4.0) , after that, you can just take up to 2 or 3 quests to be on 65.
