Hello! What has happened?

Hello! Long time no see, GamezAion!
Most people don't know me but I'm Alodia! Another player from 2010.
I started playing Aion from version 2.1 (Where ABG was still the best gear) and I temporarily stopped after version 3.5 landed. After some time, I played Aion once again last March 2014 and then again stopped at June 2014.
I'm just asking, what has happened to Gamez? What's the current PVP ground? What's the status to the economy? Are things like scrolls, potions, and items easy to get know? What's the best gear now? What's the hottest instance to farm items now?

Gamez is going great, don't know how well it was back in the day, but easily 200+ players most of the time, probably way more at peaks. Roaming PvP is in Katalam, along with multiple instances (1v1, mixfight, events). Don't know much about the economy (only coming back recently). Potions, scrolls ect. are all done through morphing, all the recipes are obtainable in Reshanta. Items aren't too different. Best gear is Elite Arbiter/Principal. Hottest instance is Infinity Shard (IS), which is only up at certain times of the day.

Since you left, a lot of things happened to our community, one of the important ones it, Lumiel got relocated to an EU host, Siel still the same ^^
The best gear obtainable in game is the Custodian / Shepherd gear + discordant accessories, to farm them you can simply participate the Special rift instances like IS, Muada and others, each run you will receive AP, Ceramium medals and blood marks to buy those itens.
The main pvp it's happening in Katalam, but we also have some special rifts like, FFA, Mixfight (tvt), Survival (credits reward), 1vs1 training, 1vs1 event, 2vs2, 3vs3 and a lot more.
The best gear obtainable (by credits or trades) it's the Elite Arbiter set / weapons and Special Elite Ambassador accessories.
The trades are now usually in the LFG since the Broker and the private store are not working for now.

Along with everything everyone else said, I would like to add that the server now has BGs (battlegrounds). They are the floating round orange portals you find in the main capitals, and they spawn at their own schedule with many different options to choose from. There's 1v1 battlegrounds, farm group (instance) battlegrounds, FFA battlegrounds where everyone is an enemy to each other, and so on. They give rewards to the winner(s).

Plus I'm pretty sure you won't find Stormwing in BT anyway.

I miss those times. Clash in Inggison/Gelkmaros. Jump to the death at Silentera Canyon :3

 

Silentera and Heiron/Beluslan were some of the best times we've had in PvP, I think we can all agree

What has happened? =p welp, just log and check it out. Population dropped drastically, so naturally the economy is messed up too.
NO idea if they ever fixed the broker xD kinda seems like a waste of time nowadays. Just my 2cents tho.
