about 1 v 1 problem

I was pvping 1 v 1 rift event versus Rajan player he killed me once i killed him once the event finished but he won how this happend i dont understand .... suppose he to have 2-1 to win 1-1= tie...

 

Sometimes that person won who kill first

 

didnt know that sounds unfair...

 

I still haven't figured out who wins if there is a tie. I've happened to lose when I killed the player first, I've happened to win when I killed the player first, then I started thinking it has to do with who killed the other faster, but it doesn't seem to be the case.

I think that if the event ends with a tie, the winner gets chosen randomly

 

Not really, supposedly at the first fight both players have all their buffs n shit ready. If you kill them when they're "at their best" it counts for more than killing somebody with a ton of cooldowns.

Still think it's whoever kills first, but if you say it's not... probably RNG or alphabetic, ain't no way it's smart enough to calculate fight durations.

 

I thought so too, but I'm almost sure I killed someone first one time and I still lost So yeah I'm probably going for RNG aswell.

Nah it definitely isn't alphabetic, considering my Ely is called Vows and I've won after ties against people with names that start with a letter before "V" ;o

 

so a sin called aaaaaaaaaaagayyyyy can stay in hide whole 1vs1 and win

I remember I walked into a 1v1 with my Chanter this one time. After spending Discoball and Empyrean, this one Templar actually managed to kill my chanter. I was pretty impressed at the time, then I went full buff and killed him. So it ended up in a 1v1 "tie."

But then the server announced me as the winner. I was like DAFUQ? I went to the elyos side and gave him my TS cuz I felt that wasn't fair.

oh and...

 

If happens to me many times. I was using my songweavahhh and the time my opponent knows that I am an SW, the guy suddenly TPed out and I won. Well, that guy is a gladiator.

The second time was a SIN, he hide for almost 3 mins or so. Then suddenly stabbed me at my back but I managed to kill him. And he TPed out again.

The third, a TEMPLAR. Uses full buff and do everything he can to hit me. Still I managed to kill him. Suddenly, the time he re-spawned, he directly attacking me to death. So I take use of the time to let my buffs CDs.. And chennnnnnneeeennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn! Time is over, and I WON.......
