Solved Can't extract costume on +15 part

From what the title states

I currently have an old Elite Guardian Tribunus Jerkin+15 like way back 2011 which was remodeled with Hot swimsuit.

As of now,I bought the Custodian Jerkin I was going to extract the costume destroying the EGT on the Modify Appearance NPC but unfortunately i received a message stating

"You failed to modify the appearance of the item as you could not remove the skin item Elite Guardian Tribunus Jerkin."

Is there a way to extract the costume of my said item? Since it has no worth at all and I want to reuse the costume for my Custodian.

What should I do. I really love that costume for my ranger

 

Costumes can't be remodeled more then once! If you Remoed the costume onto EGT than you won't be able to use the EGT as a remo skin again.
Make sure to read the items before applying the remo xD
It should say something in item description "can only be remodeled once"

 

You cant resuse that costume since you can only use it as a remo once.

Actually I got this item way back 2012 so there was no such thing as "Remodeled once" before if I recall

 

That's because you could skin an item on some cheap armor piece and then use the armor piece to remodel the original skin on something else back then.
However, as already mentioned, a while later it was changed to what it is today. You are still able to use a remodel twice, but on very limited pieces.

Click here, this is the Hot Swimsuit remodel your set has on. Underneath "Clothing", do you see the second icon that looks like a head with the number 1? Hover over it, it will say "Can only be used once to remodel appearance". It means that once you remodel it on an armor piece, you lose the remodel and if you wanna use it again on a different armor piece, you will have to re-buy the original.

Now look at this item. It doesn't have that icon. It means that if you skin it on another armor piece, you can use that armor piece to transfer the remodel on something else as many times as you want
