Solved Can't bid on a mansion.

I have a cleric(alt) by the name of Shamony which i had bought a mansion with in the past.I have put that mansion up for sale and am trying to bid on another one in another area and it keeps telling me i need to finish the housing quest a home for every daeva which I've already finished and it says so in my completed quests, I'm not sure if this would have anything to do with it but I did purchase the premium package for my membership earlier in the morning before the glitch happened.Our group or legion have noticed quite a few problems in the short time we have been here mostly in the housing system.We are hoping these problems will all be fixed SOON.I would like to thank Severe for the help she gave us recently with some issues but other than her it seems a bit difficult to get a GM/AM to respond ingame when a player needs help or info.If you could PLEASE help me with this bidding problem on my cleric i would REALLY appreciate it. I don't think that the housing system works in a way that you are not allowed to bid on another house if yours is up for sale, so I won't say "that's how it's supposed to work", I believe it is indeed a bug, correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure it is because it tells you to do a quest you've already done

Quite a few people have had similar problems. Unfortunately like you said, the housing system is indeed bugged in quite a few different ways.
I would tell you to wait a few days or wait after your house is sold until you try to bid again. If the problem persists then you will most likely have to wait for a server restart

 

I already have my previous mansion in the market and have a bid on it.I actually had a situation where I did a house switch from one toon to another alittle while back with no problem not on this toon another toon.This only started after I upgraded to the premium package yesterday morning on the website.Been trying to bid on this other place for two days and even on original Aion you are allowed to bid on a different house while owning one as long as you sell your previous house within two weeks.As for the server restart any idea when this server might be doing one.I haven't seen even so much as a maintenance done on this server since we got here?Personally and keep in mind this is just my opinion but i believe a regular maintenance schedule would do this server ALOT of good.Thank you for your time and response,Vampy

 

I doubt this has anything to do with your premium membership, but of course I could also be very wrong.. Switching houses while still owning one is not guaranteed to fail every time, but it has caused quite a few problems. I have experienced a similar one myself. Housing is bugged in many different ways like I said so this doesn't surprise me

Server restarts are not scheduled, they happen once the server status is deemed in need of one. You can watch this thread, mostly when one happens or is currently going on, people will post there. I wouldn't say they are that often, maybe once every 1-2 weeks.

 

UPDATE: Now it is not letting me bid on an estate on my main.I was told recently this server has been up for 5 years and it still has as many glitches as it has, is ridiculous.Enjoy your server i will be looking for a good one.Thank you Severe again for the help you gave us.Good gaming and bye

 

It does not matter how long a server is up, a server being up for "5 years" does not mean it will be bug-free. I fail to see how you actually link the time a server has been active for with how many bug it has.
