Stigma System (4.8 Revamped)

• What is Stigma System?

- Stigma is a system that helps to balance the PvP out between the 11 different classes of Aion. It allows a player to be unique from the other player of the same class by being able to use a different set of stigma skills that would be beneficial to your own play style. For example, we have 2 clerics on the same level with the same exact set of skills from skill books. Stigma System helps so that one cleric can be different from the other cleric. In this case, one cleric can choose to equip a set of stigma skills that would allow him to play as an offensive cleric while the other cleric can choose to equip a different set of stigma skills that would allow him to better support his team mates.

• How to use Stigma System?

- To be able to use stigma system, you will first need to open your stigma slots. You can do this by successfully completing a campaign quest once you hit level 20 which differs depending on your race.
- For Asmodians, you need to complete the quest No Escaping Destiny .
- For Elyos, you need to complete the quest A Sliver of Darkness.
- After completing the quest, stigma slots will open automatically as you level up.

• How many stigma slots are there?

- The max stigma slots a character can have is 6 slots. Three (3) Normal Stigma Slots, two (2) Greater Stigma Slots and one (1) Major Stigma Slot. However, the revamped stigma system which comes with 4.8 update opens up a 7th slot after successfully equipping a set of 6 stigma skills. This 7th slot is called Vision Stigma that has and is limited to 3 variations for every class. For every class and for every variation 2 out 3 vision stigma skills can be acquired by using a specific combination of stigma skills while 1 out of 3 variations is a result that comes out by not using any of the specified combinations. More info regarding the combinations and vision stigma will be available later on as you proceed to read this guide.

• What do I need to be able to equip stigma skills?

- You need Stigma Stones which you can buy with your Kinah from the respective NPCs depending on your character class. Each stigma skill has it's own corresponding stigma stone. Stigma Stones are divided into 3 categories that being, Normal Stigma(green name), Greater Stigma(blue name) and Major Stigma(yellow name).
- For Asmodian Cleric, Chanter, Sorcerer, Spirit Master and Songweaver, you can buy your stigma stones from NPC named Grena.
- For Asmodian Aethertech, you can buy your stigma stones from NPC named Helgor.
- For Asmodian Gladiator, Templar, Ranger, Assassin and Gunslinger, you can buy your stigma stones from NPC named Sulagel.
- All of these NPCs are located in Enshar. You can find their exact location by typing /where <NPC Name> in-game (do not include < > symbols!)
- For Elyos Cleric, Chanter, Sorcerer, Spirit Master and Songweaver, you can buy your stigma stones from NPC named Sumille
- For Elyos Aethertech, you can buy your stigma stones from NPC named Gobino.
- For Elyos Gladiator, Templar, Ranger, Assassin and Gunslinger, you can buy your stigma stones from NPC named Artunerre.
- All of these NPCs are located in Cygnea. You can find their exact location by typing /where <NPC Name> in-game (do not include < > symbols!)

• How and Where do I equip stigma stones?

- You can equip, unequipped or change your stigma skills with the use of your Kinah and the help of a Stigma Master which is located just beside the stigma stone vendors.
- Asmodian stigma master is named Malankarin.
- Elyos stigma master is named Taroa.
- In equipping stigma stigma stones, you should always start from the highest grade to lower grade. If you are including a Major Stigma stone in your build, start with it then Greater Stigma stone and lastly, Normal Stigma stone to avoid having conflict with the stigma slots.

• Combinations of Stigma Skills and Vision Stigma

- No Required Combination means that this Vision Stigma doesn't need any of the specified combinations to be acquired.

The guide lists vendors for the non chargeable stones right? We'll have to do the instances for the chargeable ones?

 

Stigma stone vendors shown on this guide is for Inert Stigmas. I'll cover up the Chargeable Stigmas part once we've confirmed that it is working after the update.

I've actually made a char over Lumiel but the number of those deformed lunatics in the hills have eyes 2 outnumbers the population lumiel has. lmao!
