Amplification System

• What is Amplification System?

- Amplification is a new system introduced at version 4.7. It allows you to enchant your equipment (armor / shield / weapon) up to +20 compared to the past the regular enchant limit that being +10, +13 or +15. For the case of Arbiter / Principal items, it allows you to enchant your item from +1 up to +20 which cannot be enchanted at all prior to the introduction of this system. Once you reach the new enchant limit through this system, a random skill depending on the item will be available for you to use. Weapons and shield enchanted to +20 will give Active Skills while armors will give Passive Skills. More info about the skills that you may acquire through this system will be tackled as you proceed to read this guide.

• What are the items I need to be able to enchant to +20?

- A piece of equipment - Armor, shield or weapon. Do take note that not every of these equipment types can be amplified. Item description has been given a new attribute that will tell you if the the item is eligible to amplification or not.

- Amplification Tool
- Amplification Stone or Copy of the item you want to amplify. For example, if you want to amplify a Lethal Elite Arbiter Greatsword but you don't have Amplification stone, then you may use another Lethal Elite Arbiter Greatsword as a replacement for the Amplification Stone.
- Omega Enchantment Stone

• Where do I get these items?

- Amplification Tool can be bought from your General Goods Merchant located in Pandemonium if you're an Asmodian and in Sanctum if you're an Elyos. Simply type in-game /where <NPC Name> for their exact location.

- Amplification Stone can be farmed the from bosses of the following instances listed down below as a rare drop.

- Omega Enchantment Stone can be farmed from any monster in Balaurea (Inggison / Gelkmaros / Enshar / Cygnea / Levinshor / Kaldor ) as a rare drop.

• How do I amplify and enchant with this system?

- Right click Amplification Tool, left click the item you want to amplify. A window will appear asking you for Amplification Stone or an item the same (copy) as the item you want to amplify, right click the stone / item and click Amplify on the lower right corner of the window. Your item will then be amplified and ready to be enchanted past its old limit. Amplification does not fail. It is 100% success rate. It will consume your Amplification Stone / item copy during the process.

- Right click Omega Enchantment Stone and left click the item you want to you want to enchant. Enchanting may fail and once it does, you will have to re-amplify the item to be able to enchant again.

- You must be using / wearing the item you got the skill from to be able to use the skill you get off it. For example, if you want to be able to use the skill that you obtained from enchanting your mace then you must use your mace.

Like the guide says on the first part, yes you can.

Since no one has gotten to +20 yet, even the test servers, we don't know yet. I've done this thing so much and the best I got was +19 so until someone gets an armor piece to +20, we won't know just yet.

 

but instances arent working yet right ?

 

Yes, not yet.

 

Should use this for the enchantment skills instead since they got +1/2 per type in 4.8

Levinshor drops stones already, made 100. Hope the ones in gelk and ing don't get implemented cuz those zones are so damn boring and overused

Since when is dropping Amplification Stone in instances?
He says the Infinity Shard drop, but yesterday completed Infinity Shard and not drop this item. Is there anything wrong or bug?

 

Might also just say that the amplification stones drop from end bosses in all lvl50+ instances, since that graph is from official notes on 4.75 and some of those instances don't exist anymore (like elementis)....and it's shorter.

You have to Amplify it first before you proceed into Enchanting lady!!!

Can EA weapon can be amplify also ?

 

Seems to be 50% for every level. Not a few people have already made normally +15 weapons into +20 to get the skill; while it takes some luck it is perfectly manageable. I too have a +5 Arbiter weapon right now.
