Summer Postcards!

We are in the middle of summer, and many of us are already on vacation.
Some of us are in tropical places, but some others are spending summer in cold
ones that are just as fun. Who said summer only had to be about tropical beaches?

Forget social media and instagram - this year, we'll let everybody know where
we are by sending them good, old-fashioned.. 'selfie' postcards!




In this event, you are required to show everybody what real country your Aion character is spending his/her summer
vacation in, with a combination of a picture and a small written paragraph to let us know about your news.

You are asked to present one full-size screenshot of your character ingame pretending to be in any real place around the world
(France, the Caribbean, Alaska, Italy, Australia, etc, whatever you wish really), accompanying it by a paragraph of a
maximum of 60 words, that will be sent to a friend of yours along with the picture, to let them know about your vacation.
Your screenshot does not have to completely copy the scenery of the country you pick;
obviously we can't somehow duplicate each country's sceneries ingame. Just play along and just show the basics
of the country you're representing; for example summer in Greece is super hot, but don't forget in Australia it's very cold!

You can also show your location of choice by the clothes you will be wearing.Think outside the box, don't restrain yourself.
Be creative and have your imagination wide open, who said summer only has to be about going to the beach?




☼ Everyone is welcome to participate, excluding staff members.
☼ You are allowed to only have one entry (screenshot + paragraph combo) per person.
☼ Your entry must be done by yourself, using a full-size screenshot you took yourself ingame, of your own character, representing a real country.
☼ I will be judging multiple things: Scenery, pose, creativity, image composition, fashion, relativity with the chosen country, but also the paragraph you will write.
☼ Multiple characters are allowed to be in the screenshot to set the scenery, however only the poster will receive a prize in case of a win.
☼ Plagiarism is strictly not allowed. Use your own work and ideas. If you are found stealing someone else's work, you will be immediately disqualified without a warning.
☼ Editing is allowed to a limit. You are allowed to edit simple things in your screenshot, such as the colors, brightness etc,
but NO SUPER FANCY EFFECTS and most of all, do NOT edit other things in (renders, shapes, etc) or do NOT edit your character in a different background.
Both the character and background have to be taken at the same time ingame. I want the entries to look as plain
and real as they can with minor adjustments.
☼ You are allowed to make changes to your entry while the contest is still running.
☼ Participating with more than 1 forum account will get you disqualified.
☼ Not following the rules will get you disqualified.

Dear Veracious,

My holiday in Brazil is going great so far! I asked the tour guide to take a photo of me just before venturing deeper into the tropical rainforests of this breathtaking place!
Yesterday the weather wasn't that great so we had to stay in at the resort, I couldn't sleep all night though, the animals here are extremely loud. Hopefully some day you can visit as well!

Re-read my first post and edit your entry. This isn't really about you editing a small thing you forgot, but about the fact that I dislike people who fail to read simple rules.
Also since when is "Greeks" a name o.o

Also, I thought about this entry. This is the third time I have told you to re-read the rules and the format. Like I mentioned above, what you have to change is a simple thing, and I'm not scolding you because of something small you did, but because I dislike my simple rules being completely ignored

And there is another small thing.. Creativity. I see none. Both with the picture and the paragraph. Be a bit more serious with your entry cause this is the 3d time I am asking you to change it. Plus the screenshot is making me feel uncomfortable.. ._.
