    No you just have to choose a different server in your character selection.

    Normally yeah you will face some disconnects when you are trying to change servers. Happens to most of the people. As Muamon mentioned above you have to simply wait a bit when you get disconnected and try again. If not keep trying this tactic. I hope you managed to change server in the meantime.
