That's just the damage you take when I'm against you with my MA/MB Arbiter Set, MA/MB EA Harp & Impassion.

Nothing like that.

Corect me if I am wrong but since 4.7 MR was caped to 50%.And to take less damage from mages you need MS set.Not sure how this applies in Gamez.

 

@Saruayu nice stats indeed. Wish I could have the same HP with those.
@Alex it's about right - although I'm not sure if there's a PvP reduction on Blazing Requiem, it's definitely within the acceptable damage for her MB value.

 

Trust me, I use that set when I'm facing clerics/chanters. But ONLY when I get resisted and wearing my MB/HP EA Set, which only gives me 2.378MA along with the MA/MB Harp.

The only thing I can add is that I have +15MB plume. Which explains the HP as well.

 

Nah it's mostly the classes' base HP stats that play the big role. Bards have like an extra 1.3k over sorcerers, which gets further amplified by Etude. I guess NCsoft decided they must be a tanky cloth and that's that.

 

MR dont make you get less damage from magic classes / skills only resist them... only magic suppression can do that

Gildarts is somewhat right Alex but not only. its also about skill countering. For example depending on what she or he casts (and trust me the animation easily tells it all) you must cast a certain type of skill before it activates. Its like playing a game of chess. When you're playing in siel, even clerics with ea +20 need to rely on methods like these to survive. I have to admit tho i Love the new cooldowns they give us now. The only hint ill give you. abuse your skills just abuse them in the right way.

 

@Saruayu is in +20 EA. How you think she has those stats with MA and MB set? And im suprised you can finally kill something now

 

Man only magic suppression can help suppress the magic boost of your magical attack opponent. ~ Thank god for my 2050 magic suppression rofl woosh woosh...

But as you can clearly see , even on my sorcerer in full custodian YES CUSTODIAN cloth set , with full MA/MB and a +15 YES FIFTEEN Eternal Bastion tome with mb/ma I have around 2550 MA without food or anything, and 3600mb. Clearly I'd have to depend on my skills , etc to make me hit harder, but I most definitely will not be resisted (which is what MR is all about)

The only thing you'll resist if any at all, is ankle snare from glads, etc etc... If you ask my personal opinion MR is now useless... :s

Everyone who knows a bit about the game can tell that an EA Set (+20 or not +20) with MB/HP build will still result in some of your skills getting resisted against an MR cleric, chanter,..
Therefore I have a second Arbiter set with MA/MB build to use ONLY WHEN I GET RESISTED. That's not too hard to get, is it?

Now I can show you both the stats of my allegedly +20 set and the so called +20 passive skills (5 of them would it be, right?) people get with it.
On the pics I'm full buffed (candy, food, Impassion; the MB/MA buff btw, tho most of the times I use Exultation)

jokes aside tho. I dont know who this saruayu or w,e her name is. i have no quarrel with her. All i know is all sw requires no skill and logic to play especially in siel "spits"
The makers of aion were probably drunk shit lonely and high off their minds when they created this garbage class they call sw.
The funniest part of it all is that more than half the ppl i know said the same thing about sw, only now they use them too. Power.... its so seducing... the greed.
