    You guys know why aion doesnt have "pure" update files like other games? .__. seems pretty dumb for a new-ish game like that

    Then you'd kinda be out of the trouble of having to download a 11gb thing. "Just" a patch would be awesome, cause i doubt they changed the whole game between the patches o.o

    Basically the same thing the gamez launcher does, just lets you get into aion. It's better if you use the Gamez launcher though.

    No, as they aren't implemented serverside..

    Unless you're talking about retail, then yes :p

    I went out and got the download for 1.9.0.1 but am unable to find the 1.9.0.2 or 1.9.0.3 patches, I can NOT get them through NCSoft as it wants to go to 2.0.0.2 ...

    Any ideas on where to find the update or updates?

    i was having same problem but i coped all files of my brother pc to my pc and past it and replaced every file then its working fine

    Instead of spending hours downloading, you can just do a system restore on the NCSoft folder pre-2.0 update and copy it to your desktop, then put it in your Program Files replacing the updating Aion client. That's what I did and it took me about 20-30 minutes! It works for Windows 7, I don't know about other versions of windows! Just right click on the folder and look for "restore previous versions".

    Make sure you stop the updating process to 2.0 and turn off the automatic updates on the NCSoft Launcher like stated before by Adieu!

    How did you do it for just the folder? Can you tell us step by step? I'm using Windows 7 also.

    Followed the first steps you did, Launcher on NA .. Uninstalled game, Downloaded Aion again from the link you put .. I get ' This program is unavailable in your country ' .. I used to play retail on EU .. Could anyone help me..

    I thought this problem may happen, I think it's as simple as replacing your L10N folder(since we can't use NCSoft launcer) but I have to test it first, I'll get back to you asap.

    put d3dx9_38.dll inside your Aion/bin32 folder or reinstall GamezAion launcher to proper location (basically GamezAion installer consists of launcher and this .dll to remove IP restriction).

    Does anyone have a link to the client installer as just the .exe, not a .zip? I don't have enough space to both download the .zip and then extract it.

    The Aion Client 1.9.0.1 hase a big bug :| only in a few places you can fly and 1 of the warst unflyebel places is DP :( so GM plz tell me wat shel i do?

    Go into your Aion directory, scroll down until you see system.ovr and open it with notepad.. replace its contents with

    then just click save. Make sure to do this when Aion is closed.
