Sheloe's Rewards of an event

im just so curious about it... when sheloe had an event, what did he exactly gaves you as a reward, or what are those rewards that he gaves you?

I do not quite think you seem to understand the fact that it is not quite wise to tell an AM not to comment.

uhm gm puddles, many times ive been expecting good rewards instead of items that i dont need, now, some of my friends in the same event that we won together, the prizes he gaves to us, i mean was Sheloe, was amplification 25pcs on my friend here in japan, but why mine was 25pcs pallasite ore, thats ridiculous! its mocking me instead!... 2 times he did! i dont know why? is he angry with me? huh? also before he gaves me only tricksters essence 25 pcs! lol REALLY?

Shelo isnt the one mailing your rewards. Also your friend got amps and you didnt, cause you joined different events.

 

coz it seems everyone really needs an amplification stones, but why he always

You realize that firstly, I doubt that AM Shelo is the only AM events you are participating in.
Secondly, AM's have nothing to do with mailing the prizes for any and all events. That is handled by Senior Staff.

Third? The S.AM send out prizes according to what the AM has listed as the prize for winners or participants.

The reason certain things are being given out? Such as Pallasite Ore, is due to items which are in the weekly special shop and the unavailability of the item in-game.

So, quite frankly. I do think, that if you wish to continue this conversation. You do so with myself in PM's.

Considering that there really is no possible way for players to be able to tell what event is mailed.
That is also due to the prize list being kept moderately similar in numbering of amounts sent.

if you read well those prizes, there was a different kind of rewards to give depend on what event we hosting. We dont give the same prizes like amplification stones at the same event again and again and again. We need also give different rewards too.

I remember a long time ago when I actually considered for a very brief moment to apply as an AM, each time the thought crossed my mind though a player like you would instantly pop up and show me why it would be a very very silly idea.

 

Now now.

I can understand the frustration about getting the same prizes over and over, or things which might be seen as useless in some form.
Though everything has a value to itself. Be it trading etc.

Saying things like 'a player like you would pop up', not quite appreciated. Everyone has their own view about different things.
Even the Staff itself. We have quite long conversations and threads discussing different projects, events, and ideas.
In fact? If as Staff we are unable to understand this and accept someone elses thoughts on something? Then we wouldn't really be doing a good job.

There are yes times where the thoughts are mis-guided, as I think this thread may be, and most defiantly yours. The objective of a Staff Member is
to try and understand why a person, player, is thinking the way they are.

In this case? This person while expressing themselves in what I personally would consider a bad manor, is still expressing their thoughts.
To that point? I am also sure that there happen to be a plethora of other people who have not said similar yet share the same sentiment.

So, now what as Staff can we do with this sentiment? Easy, make it a point to allocated different prizes to the events out of the list.
And, make up coming changes to the prize lists more robust.

Just remember, everyone has their own thoughts. How they express it, and why.

As far as an application for staff would go, with that mindset. You would be hard-pressed to work with this team.

 

I wouldn't call this "expressing yourself" as you put it.
there's a way to say anything however lot's of players act like unapprecative self-absorbed brats, and who do they take it on? the AMs... the very people who are basically doing volunteer work.
So what do you get for spending your time trying to help the commuinty? having to deal with players as the one above every single day.
And about ur last remark it's absolutely true, I already talked with trent about how I'd probably get fired after one day because I simply don't have the huge amounts of patience our lovely AMs do

Hmm. Well, I cannot say you are incorrect in how people act. Yes, this requires quite the bit of patience to do.
Yes, it is volunteer work.

What do we get as staff members? Honestly? We get very little, but; the thing is. If you are even able to help one person, and they say thank you, or similar.

It makes it worth it. This 'job' is not about what we get really. It is about what we are able to give, contribute, and accomplish in attempting to help everyone who decides to join our servers if they so need it. Of course at times that can be frustrating due to many different reasons. Though there is something about being able to say, 'Hey, we managed to help with this', etc.

Or, creating different events like the ones that happened through Halloween. What did the staff members who made events get from that? Nothing.
They still did it because they wanted to bring something fun to you guys as players. Just remember, each and every staff member, does have Legit Accounts that they play the game with.

We get simply the satisfaction of trying to do our best to make Gamez more fun where we can, if we can, and when we can. I don't think anyone asks for more than that, actually they don't.

The point of it is. We give our time and knowledge, support. Because we care about GamezAION, and want to see it shine bright.

Anyway. I've made it a point to address event rewards anyway.
They aren't really going to be changed till December at this point, but we'll try to give out more variance in prizes.

I understand this thread is being handled well and I don't need to step in to defend anyone since that has very well already been done, but I can't just sit here saying nothing after one of the things I heard.

@grifter214 you have to understand that not everybody in the server is fully geared, rich, or in no need of basic/starting items. We do events for everyone in the server, and not for particular people, or for the "Gamez veterans". You might personally not need the Pallasite Ore that you so frantically have proclaimed to be "useless", but other people do, either for themselves to up their old weapons as a cheaper equivalent to buying new extendables, or to sell them to make some profit since the Ore is not directly available ingame and it goes for a decent value.

What I would like to see from many of you that I have not seen lately, is the ability to understand that there are other people in the server, people who have different needs when it comes to items, and are not only in need of Amplification Stones and Officer Laurels. You have to learn that staff needs to be fair to everybody, and that includes giving "less valuable" prizes to help people who need them aswell. There are a couple hundred players in the server, and not everyone always needs or wants the same prize, but we as AMs have to pick ONE and only one item for everyone in the event, as we cannot send different ones to different people in the same event. As an example, I think I remember one time you had asked me if I could send one type of tokens as a reward in one of the events I did a long time ago (my bad if I'm wrong). You needed those tokens then, but other people did not. So why do you complain for the same reason now?

Sometimes you have to stop thinking about yourselves and start thinking about other people too. And at this point I will say something that I do not like saying, because me and everyone else here volunteered for this and we do not expect you to bow to us and call us "master": Keep in mind that, like I said, all of us here are volunteering. We take time from our everyday lives which are filled with busy schedules, work and school, to make you happy and nobody else. The least you can do is refrain from cussing us out on our "poor decisions" just because you did not get what you wanted. We unfortunately do not possess any mind-reading skills to always know what all the participants would like to receive, and change our event prizes to fit their needs. Yes, we did know what we signed up for when we applied to be AMs which is why I said none of us expect you to bow to us, but you can at least treat us like people and not as "ranked assholes". We do not own the server and we do not make the big decisions for it, we are also players who volunteer to solve your questions and problems and help you have fun.

Do not forget that next time you come pointing fingers at a staff member for doing their job.

 

man..the rewards are not am's choice...not even am send em to you....all they do is the event. they send the list of player to a Sam and that s all. they can t trick u in any way. i was mad like u too when i received 25 ts, so i was asking around and found out that the rewards are "random"
