4.9-.4.8 Downgrade

Hi, is there any downgrade 4.9 - 4.8 ( 4.8 version that Gamez use ) ?

 

There is none, but I think soon you won't have a use for a downgrade since @Puddles has mentioned that there is an update coming so I think the version of the Gamez server will be updated to the latest one that we can get from North america NCsoft

 

How big is aion right now?

cause i would like to install it again xD.

 

The total size of my client right now(not updated to the latest from NC) is 32GB but u'll need at least twice that to 'install' the game because Aion downloads and keeps the installation files on storage and u can only be sure of removing it till after the client is fully downloaded.

 

What about downloading it in torrent i think its available.

 

Oh yes, but I'm not sure if that's a good idea when it comes to speed. There aren't many players that are still seeding the files. I checked and there is one seeder, the speed is decent for my normal down speed (100kB)

Yes I have almost the same system as yours, ur processor is higher.

this is there computer. the other is 4.0gb ram dayum.

 

If u want to play with better speed, buy even higher than 4.0GB RAM. I get 3FPS on Balaurean Siege and I'm already at the lowest possible graphic settings.

Correct, there will not be a downgrade.
Considering that NCSoft has pretty much modified everything. I got around halfway done with it and it was around 10gb. Not really something I would like to request players download when it comes to being a grand 20 or so gig when finished. So, we scrapped that idea.

The torrent is going to get updated soon enough, and as far as an update for our servers? 4.9 Just released. So, obviously not going to be that update.

 

ohnoes :< so to play properly we need... to update to 4.9 and downgrade? or? cuz i still have 4.8.0.6, What will be the version of the server when it gets updated? Or we shud just wait for it?

We will be updating our torrent, with the current compatible client for our server version as soon as possible.
