Against rule

ok, dear gms, please read this thread carefully. As you already read the title, yea, i am against one rule, and its jailing the players who wil fly in bug teritories. In my opinion its rather rude way, i suggest u to jail only them who will attack elyos or asmos from above, because there are alot of things which requires flying, like aethers, quests, and rifts too, as u cant fking know where rift apears nowadays. There are also alot of buged things, like precast ect ect. This is total ruin for crafters... i am up to ground pvp as my main char still stays sin lol. so i just suggest u, jail only them who will attack from above, and who will have the proof for it like screen shots lol, or else its really terrible update lol.

 

They should just fix altogether the no-fly zones

You are allowed to fly in aether gather zones. Fly high and don't pvp, and no one will bother you for flying to aether gather zones. We are getting a huge number of fly complaints atm, so we are aggressively teaching players it is not ok to abuse the bug. I want this fixed as much or more than you do because it's a bunch of work I didn't have to do before. But it is how it is.

yeah we can fly in those areas where we can gather but if we take off our wings and try to fly it says that "you cannot fly in this area"

Yeah, that means you have to fly from the fortress... What you can do is fly really high so you won't run into anyone on the ground. Then, use abyss flight pots and regular flight pots to keep yourself in the air

 

acutally there is one trick lol for it as u land down, log out and u are able to fly again

Thats not a trick, its a bug abusing...

 

i dont get, why u all mean by bug abusing? u can say, abusing other players by flying, u would be jailed. could u please explaing how bug can be abused?

 

what autumn said, its only jailable to fly in NO FLY zones... if you have ever played retail you know what that means :3

 

Bug abuse, or bug exploitation, is using a bug that you know to your advantage.

(Flying in no-freefly = bug abuse)

 

You are supposed to be able to fly in any aether gather zone. No one will complain about using a glitch to enable flight there I believe if it's been unintentionally shut down. Just don't fly low outside areas where there are aether gather nodes.

 

Most commonly, people who are jailed are reported to a GM by a member of the opposite faction because they were being attacked by a fly abuser.

If you are flying high, and going to a aether gathering area (storm circle, alukina's palace) then no one can report you because they wont see you. Though its still technically against the rules to fly outside of non-aether areas. So I can't officially condone the use of this method.

If you are flying and engaging in pvp in a ground-pvp area, you will be jailed for a duration that is appropriate.
