about the fake websites

Hi good people of Gamezaion i have some concerns...i know a person who play aion and i really know him well..the thing, is i saw his account got banned cause of fake sites and i confronted him he was shocked knowing what had happened cos he havent played for a week no soul knows his password..i dont want it to happen to anyone else..imagine if it happens to you...is there related incidents where somebody got banned like this?scammers really do evolve

 

Just to be clear, he got banned for spamming fake sites? Or did he get banned for going in one? Im gonna guess its the first one and if he got banned for it, he either lied to you and exposed his acc/password or did actually perform it himself by spamming fake sites. Scammers are evolving but so is our system. Theres always something some little tweak which leads to a certain solution. If what you say is true, that he has nothing to do with it, ask your so called poor lil friend if he himself actually been confronted by a spammer in games. If he did ask your friend if he or she actually searched the site. If so that might be it but very very very unlikely. My theory is that the the fake website is a smart virus that takes your cookie information such as gamezaion login info which automatically steals the account info without your friend knowing whats so ever. But. Gonna say it again. Very unlikely. Your chances of being a male decee is far greater than that. So ye. Uh.... I think hes lying to you

Yes Same here i got banned for that shit sites that i didn't do because someone use my account and took all my items... Good luck for your friend.

Thing is, account's don't login by themselves. SO, it's either he lied to you that he hasn't played for a week or he may prolly got hacked.

This is alarming...cause if he is telling the truth we should be aware cause the possibility that this can happen to us is very big. If this happens again with screenshots as proof its very strong evidence ingame...thankfully its not my account or your accounts but what if it is?

 

Look, I've been playing on this server since 2011 and i never got hacked/scammed. There's a few easy steps to not get hacked/Scammed:
1. Trust no one. This might sound mean, but, whoever it is, it doesn't matter how much time you two have known each other, NEVER give your account info.
2. Don't try to get "free items". The only way you can get these its by events hosted IN-GAME OR IN THE FORUM, THERE IS NO EXTERNAL WEBPAGES.
3. Be careful where you play. A lot of people in this community play in cafes; that means more than 2 persons use the same pc. There is way too many keyloggers, you should be aware of that, always try to check the Admin task (crtl+alt+sup) to see if you find anything weird running or check if there is any weird device connected to the keyboard.

If you follow these steps i gave you above, there's no way you can get hacked.

 

i think ppls get hacked still bcs the ultra smart hacker use english language, many of them only understand free itamz ser!!!

 

Does ping reducers also have something to do with it?maybe he used a fake one that also turned out to be a keylogger?

 

Possibly, depending on where he downloaded the program. This is why we do not recommend to download or install programs that you/we do not understand. Which can be very risky and may possibly lead to such things happening as well.

 

This is out of the topic but i will ask for the good of everyone here...what are the safe ping reducers out there?
