Other problem

    original post said that he isn't having any graphical issues, only that the game is freezing. Whenever a program begins to slowdown, it is usually because it cannot Process information. Hence why you see your computer slow down and sometimes freeze for a few seconds.

    if it were a problem with DirectX, you would see alot of graphics not being implemented properly in the game, and that the screen would begin tearing at random times. It would also show some graphics sometimes "Stretching", Example being the game Star Wars: Empire At War. It does not support DirectX 11 or 10, and stretches itself whenever I play it on my desktop.

    the fact that he doesnt get a directx error doesnt automatically mean there isnt a problem with it. speaking of own experience it doesnt have to necessarily stretch or not display stuff properly, just getting a screen tearing. the fact that he DID get directx error be4 suggests that its still likely not fixed properly

    um...honestly...his card is directx 11 compatible, why is he using 10.1?
    google directX 11 download and get it xD might help u out

    Now I'm going to do is watch the temperature of my processor because my clock says 100% CPU usage and see what directx

    ok goto ur task manager, click processes, sort by cpu usage, tell me whats highest :p

    meant each cpu usage belongs to a process (its on the same line), write down the process name xD
