Solved Graphic problem + no players in game (help!)

Hi everyone.

Before I start, my computer is updated with the latest drivers plus lastest versions of directx and microsoft framework and all that stuff, etc. That is not where the problem comes I think. I have an MSI laptop (one of the latest) and I have never had problems with games. Furthermore, I have played Aion few years ago so I know the game perfectly. I don't neither have the NCSoft Launcher installed or whatever

My problem is that after these years I've decided coming back to the game but not in the official server because it is too slow and I don't have the same time as I had. I downloaded the torrent, followed the instructions and the game works perfect.

What it happens is that I have graphic glitches; like the ones you can see in the screenshots below; and I don't find any help through the forum (I've tried to read tons of topics but nothing found it...)
Also, when this glitch appears and I log in, when I am in the game, there aren't any players and is super weird.

I would like to know if somebody else has the same problem.

Thank you so much, I'm waiting for an answer because I want to play this game again so badly.

UPDATE: There isn't any bug about players. Is just that all players are concentrated in Sanctum and beyond (I am now in Heiron and that region is like dead lol). So no problem about it, it was just I am too noob after all these years without playing the game.

UPDATE 2: Ok guys, I've been surfing the internet in the official forums and it is a glitch that happens with Nvidia cards. It seems that the driver has a bug with the game or something. The only fix for now is to change the game from fullscreen from windowed and then fullscreen again when the glitch comes up. Also, this black flickering only happens in the character selection/creation and in the abbys zone where the captain is (I don't have a clue about Asmodean zones).

turn on the light in your aion client. the light is shut off. that's why

try setting to lowest settings. the lighting tends to turn black*ish when specs are too low.

close your HQ in game , gonna be fix . i have same problem .

What do you mean by closing HQ in game? As I said, I am super noob now since I don't remember a thing lol

 

He means lowering your graphics and not having graphics engine to high maybe. A very valid suggestion.

 

Already done and still the same. Now the glitch appears also in the game

does it only happen when you're in fullscreen mode? have you tried playing via window screen mode?
kindly try that (both and compare). and check. and let me know.

trial fix #2: try putting your shader quality to minimum (lowest) .

 

is video driver fault, try an older driver. i also have problems with latest nvidia drivers, so i use a 2015 one.

 

its cuz of the driver version i think cuz i had the same problem

 

You could probably try lowering your Resolution, you can find it at the Graphic window options of the client, also try checking the "Fixed Fps" box as it will give you the good one that suits to your driver.

 

most of times the video problem he got it s bcs of the bloom effect, that if his settings are not on HQ mode.

 

Reinstall maybe?

 

try to restore last version you update.. i think video card problem. . . no sure ..

 

@jeremias94 yeah, video drivers are causing the problem like I thought yesterday. I updated mine after chatting with you and got the same, for the first time ever
Try installing an older version of your drivers.

All those who have the same problem with the recent drivers, could you tell me the exact old version of the driver you have installed? Because I've installed one from December 2015 (do not know the exact the day lol) and I still have the glitch.
