So, just a small inquiry

Which is better, +20 SEED set or +20 Arbiter set? Did quite a few gear calculations and I've found 900+ HP, a few Phys Def, and 2%+ PVP Def difference. I wanna know what you guys think, since getting a full set of Elite Arbiter seems to take forever. I just came back in game recently after 4 or 5 years I think and luckily, there's around 8k creds left in my account.

So, which is better? Sorry if this has been asked before, didn't have time to look further on previous threads because of work xD

 

Arb+20 is much better, but its not really allowed on most of the Gm pvp events. Other than that, you'll find yourself doing better play when your with Arb+20.
Edited : For additional information, Making an Arb+20 is not as easy as Sead/Seed. It is more likely impossible to make an arb up to +20 from +0.

You can't make arbiter +20 in game, you'd have to donate for it. SEED +20 is alright, but depending on the class (cleric/temp/chanter mostly) arbiter +0 is much better. I'd personally use SEED/SEA +20 on characters that do not rely on defense. The lack of Block on SEA sets makes them useless for tanking and supporting.

Arbiter sets are about the same as elite arbiter. But since this is Gamez, EA is much more expensive because it is the latest gear.

If you just came back to the game, i'd suggest thinking twice before getting a set (depending on your class). You could always make a SEA set in game and then spend your credits on more important things such as weapons/accessories/headgear/woc2.

 

I see, thanks for the replies. So, financially-wise, SEED is better, but stat-wise, Arbiter is.

I guess I'll go for SEED set. It seems to be easy to acquire with my creds x3

Oh, making SEA Set? Is it the stuff related in IS? I'm a ranger btw, defense is out of the question :3

 

You earn CM and AP which is need to purify the item :3

the exp u get in IS can be converted to Purified Essence which is needed to Purify items :3

you can also use Laurels :3

I think it's better to have SEAD+20 Chain if ur gonna go DPS(glad with heals lelz) type :3 and Arb for support type gameplay

 

ARB +20 is good compared to SEED +20

 

Arb+20 is good ofc, tho it is really hard to make it +20 from +0. Soo i would recommend getting +20 SEAD, SEED etc. 'cause they are quite easy to enchant till +20

Not at all. Both cleric and chanter are better off with Arbiter/Principle Set for DPSing and supporting. First of all EOD, EED, Duskwing, Blazewing are CHANTER sets, while SEED, SEAD, Shadewing, Dawning are CLERIC sets and despite that, all of them have ATTACK SPEED on Handguards (GG NCsoft, clerics surely need more Attack Speed than Casting Speed). Secondly, when it comes to EOD/SEED you have to either sacrifice Physical Defense (chanter sets have a lot more physical defense) for Magic Boost (cleric set) or the other way around, there is no way you can have both, while Arbiter/Principle provide both Offensive and Defensive Stats. Comparing SEED +20 with Arbiter +20 is quite amusing when Arbiter +5 is already better than the former set.

Attack speed for cleric ? really NCsoft ?

by the comparison u showed me, is it Arb for Clerics while Princ for Chant ?

 

It's always been like this, Arbiter Set is for Cleric and Principle Set for chanter.

 

Rather go princ set than SEED set :3 have more parry, defense and attack stats :3

 

your right this has been asked before and nobody still seems to know the big differences of those 2 sets.
