He's wrong about it being a movie but he is right about it going to shit. Series has gone downhill ever since Season 4. And it's all due to the show writers deciding to no longer follow or even read the books for that matter and then instead make shit up. "Ok in the books this person goes here and does this but we'll make him go over there and do a bunch of this stupid shit, and this character will on the opposite part of the world of where he or she should be, and hhmm looks like we missed a few, meh just kill them, it doesn't matter that they play big parts in the books, no one will miss them."

All my recent monster kills have also been fairly tame as well. Nothing too fancy, just cutting them with a sword. Pretty boring stuff really.
