Physical Memory Problem

just update ya bios using only software from ya mobo maker find the bios ur using in the startup menu or read it off ya board it's self that could be the reason

 

i just freshly installed my OS now its working fine. 14.9 gb usable thank you for all the help =)

 

i had this same problem a while. but after I upgraded from windows 7 to windows 8 and all my ram was usable .

 

planning to upgrade to windows 10 once i have the software in my kit.

 

You most likely had hardware reserved memory, formatting was not necessary, but well, you already fixed it.

damaged ram wouldn't go past bios

 

a 1k~2k$ will fix all pc problem.

 

from 6.94gb to 14.94 gb usable. i would reformat it again and make it win10 once i get the OS in my kit.

 

u will smash your pc after installing windows 10 stay on win 7. 2 times i've tried it, a lot of problems with it, with drivers most of. for now is not that stable win 10, at last not for gaming.

 

What kind of illegal version of windows 10 are u using ser? I am doing completely fine on both BNS and aion with win 10.

 

my windows 10 start button keeps on bugging. then an update happens, and fixes it for like a day and problem returns. lol

 

i just tried win10 on my laptop and it had so many restrictions. even though you removed all the administrative rules and run an application as an admin, win10 would still restrict your access. so im sticking to win7 on my desktop i guess.

 

i just have win 7 ultimate with key, and updating to win 10 wasnt a great idea, cuz so many processes running, i even i stopped a lot of them, i changed the win 10 UI to win 7 one i did my best, and in the end i experienced low internet speed ,lot of lag ingames, fps drop, and many others. is not just me all games forums says the same thing, for now win 10 is not great for gaming, win 7 is way better than it. and yeah the worst thing is that win 10 share all your things to cia so u risk a lot.

 

The tracking, most of it can be turned off. And I have win10 on 2 laptops, and I actually get better frames than on win7 but I still believe win7 to be more stable though. But win10 is less of a resource hog, once all the tracking disabled and all the other crappy flotsam on it, uses just 1gb of ram on 1st boot up, with all my other shit. (AV, firewall, etc.)
