Returning to the game!!

Hey whats up guys!! i have been debating on returning to the game!! anywho how are the servers? for pvp and also just all around player community?!!! on that note would anyone be interested in having a pocket sin or poket healer?! if so message me maybe we can chat cause i am looking for a active Legion to get back into the game with and learn agian so i can get into pvp agian thanks

I have only played asmo but honestly i would play the other side to cause im looking for someone to play with cause i hate playing games alone >.< so yea what servers are yall on? and i wouldnt mind joining ether side just depends who is active n such. and the community yea know

I play both sides but mostly Elyos. Asmos zerg too, and the advantage is there are many Asmo OP healers. Elyos healers are mostly nuts, preferring to go "solo" LOL..

What class are you?

Anyway, there are advantages and disadvantages of every side:
Elyos
Advantages:
- Rich type ppl. (Donators, etc)
- Siege Lords (Especially in Reshanta, good for saving GP)
- Traders

Disadvantages:
- Being a trader, they should stay in Sanctum. So mostly traders/players, don't go pvp. They just lay their eggs in Sanctum.
- Not much of a hunt type (Farm IS, BG rifts)
- Zerg
- Independents, they try to play on their own. People in elyos side are not really into group pvp. Only friends/legionmates online can go PVP (only if with a cleric)
- Beggars everywhere.

Asmodians
Advantages:
- Much more of a pvp type people. They hunt in groups, especially in Heiron.
- PvE Types. They strive hard to get items in just a week. Infinity Shard maniacs.
- Friendly

Disadvantages:
- Boastfulness (idk, some of the players)


I think you can be better in asmo. Just gear up first, and have some friends. You might like it there. But if you really insist on playing on the light side (Elyos), well, the door is very open. c:

just an advice: if u are planing to donate, ask before some1 from staff team about private donations, so u can buy cheaper things than on normal webshop

Both sides have friendly legions.
The class that you mentioned, gunner, sin, or templar are all "fun" to play with. But in my opinion you will enjoy templar better if you are looking for melee battle and want to last longer.
Sins are good solo and can kill most classes, except templar especially when it changes into shield + sword. That's just my observation with my sin
Gunners are good with their rapid fire skills with instant reload x2. Good for stun locks like a sin. And it's got advanced eye to hunt the evil assassins lurking, waiting for a victim.
I also have trouble killing a templar with my gunner. But I guess that's just me again....

Using my Templar? Of course. Templars don't have much magic suppression or magic resist, unless you stack on MR manastones which will then make you softer for melee class. Even with an EA +20 shield a bard can defeat a templar with mild to moderate ease.
I'm still trying to equip my bard with good items, but I guess with version 5.0 coming up, it will be behind again.
