after update the computer overheating

well after the update my computer getting over heated more then the 4.8 version its abit weird but the tempture is more then the normal it was anyone else got this happen?
by the way sometimes when I use alt+tab and trying to get aion back on I got black screen need ur help guys please

 

yep, me. since 5.0 my pc keep crash with 64 client. not normal since i have 32gb ram i7 and 980 ti . i even had screen of death (blue screen). if i play on other 5.0 server no problem at all, on gamez if i die pc crash on death animation.

 

did you ask the gm about that problem? I didn't have problem with other servers as well

 

Switch to borderless (or full screen window or whatever it is called here). It is basically windowed mode with borders just outside your screen so it looks like fullscreen, but alt tab is instant, making it far easier to switch back and forth.

What launcher are you using. The .bat launcher forces the 32bit client, which has all sorts of problems of its own, including around 3.5gb memory limit and memory related crashes. It also makes your 32gb ram quite useless

If you think your pc is overheating, try this freeware utility called speedfan. It tracks several hardware component temperatures (min, max, average), such as CPU, GPU, harddrives etc. You can compare these peaks and averages between the different servers you mentioned.

Also, do know that your graphics settings are stored in the client itself, so it is quite possible you have your 2 game clients configured differently.

well using the full client launcher but its is overheating used speed fan to check and got flames on my gpu

 

Ignore the icons xD they are generally set far too sensitively. The temperature numbers are what I am after, mainly the average and peak of the individual components (mouse over the number to get a breakdown).
In any case, try using the .bat launcher and see if it still overheats. The main difference is that the exe gamez launcher injects that gamez.dll file. So far nobody has been able to tell me what purpose it serves, but it seems to cause nothing but problems. Wondering if it is related, although I haven't had any problems so far.

 

i got the same problem. i can even dual box before the update without a problem.
after the update, my graphic card was broken. my pc got black screen and automatically restart then woala no more graphic card recognition.
now i need to buy a new graphic card
ill try the bat file if it works. im using my wife's pc now and i turned the settings to low graphic mode to eliminate graphic card overheat.

 

that s happen with my game from 1st day also, pc restart while system stop responding, when i die, i can t see anymore my animations, then pc crash. but i think is a hard disk high ussage not video card, i m not sure still. and also after restart my pc is stuck on bios mode i have to cut the power to start again

 

How I use the bat file? I got the full client download only

 

Would need to test the whole issue around dying, I don't log in besides testing reasons and I mostly test in town.

Save it in your game folder and run it. You might need to change the extension if it gets saved as text file.

I hope there will be a solution to this problem becoz in time people will be shocked why their graphic card burning or melting lmao.
I didnt notice it either in the first day of playing 5.0

Did you try to lower your graphic settings in log in screen?

 

Overall I don't see much difference between Gamez and any other private server. They all run the same client on the same engine. The only extra thing I don't know much about is the gamez.dll. Also, everyone here plays the same client but only very few of you seem to point this issue out so I don't think it affects everybody. It seems like something very specific to you.

just use Borderless or Windowed mode so you can easily altab and prevent bluescreen or blackscreen

 

maybe is about HQ engine and 64 bits client? but for sure my game works different since 64 bits out. working fine for a bit, theN pc crashes start, can t use task manager or else, ima manual restart pc, and sometimes not even pass the bios screen.

 

Thing is the .bat launcher forces the 32 bit client so technically the performance should be the same as before. If you have issues with that one then it isn't related. Also don't think the client itself can be responsible for ruining a pc really. There are quite a few failsafes that would prevent it.

 

i m not using the .bat, i m running game with 64 dll injector.i will give it a try later, to see if the game still crash.
