Consumables/ Instances/ Legions

Hello again,

I've checked forum and I cannot seem to find answers to what's bothering me, so I decided to make a new thread.
As a new player on Gamez server I'm wondering about few things:

1) Consumables - prices on broker are very high and there are so few supplies of potions or scrolls. I am crafting greater healing potions, but I'm stuck about how to get any mana potions. As far as I remember the designs for morphing ingredients needed for fine mana potion are in Gelkmaros fortresses, but they are always taken by the Balaur, so... how can i get them? Can anyone can give me tip how can I be properly supplied?

2) Instances - also very rare to see someone recruiting on LFG for instances. Is it because everyone has premades or simply noone goes anywhere?

3) Legions- so far I was in a completely quiet legion, when noone said a word, didnt even reply for "hello" or any question I've asked. Also, with very less people online. Looking for someone who'd like to hang out in the game, if so, pm me in game plz

1. Buy from broker or wait till the fortresses switch to Asmodians.
2. There are no instances that work except 2 shitty 4.0 ones like IS and SSB. So yea, you wont find anyone recruiting. Again, in the words of AMs and HAMs , this is not retail.
3. The ones who had atleast half a brain dont play here anymore so finding a legion that has atleast 2/3 half-intelligent humans who are worthy of making a decent conversation with is nearly impossible. If you want a legion filled with cockroaches and low-quality players on Asmo side, try Dragonlords / Stopitsme / Some other random shit legion. The good ones vanished with the good players.

perhaps someone from DL has your ass chapped? why the inflammatory comment? and AFAIK stopitsme is a small legion of 1 single group of friends so i dont understand
on topic:
1. morph, craft, repeat. use morphing designs to create supplies, turn them into materials> bang potions and scrolls are made
2. we are mostly limited to the custom instances since the instances who have the good stuff are not working atm, and yes partialy is because nobody does them (at least the ones available, theyre pretty outdated tbh)
3. as the victim above stated, most legions are not organized here. me being on dragon lords i can say that the legion is pretty inactive now because the BG is not as active as before

 

Yes, this much I figured, but my concern are those morph designs from Gelkmaros Forts, as they are never Asmodian does that change sometime?

 

get the ones from shapers of dusk something like that, theyre by the stairs going towards the crafting area

 

To add to the on-topic sensible response,

We do hope that the newer instances will be updated and working in the future, the other 4.8 instances do work (i.e ones in Enshar/Cygnea Solo and group). To my knowledge even the real (not portal customized) Infinity Shard and Eternal Bastion both work and they give GP rewards as intended.

it's all about exploring as you would any game and check out what is what and so forth. People here focus mostly on PVP, which leads to the lack of knowledge when it comes to PVE (which is sad since some PVE does help PVP).

As for the the whole rigmarole with the Gelkmaros fortresses, at the moment, the GP rewards players would receive from siege is broken, as in they get no GP for conquering a fortress apart from the Brigade General him or herself. After that is addressed, Asmodians pretty much will eat those forts up as they've always done in the past.

well, that s the thing, old morphs not works anymore. u can t morph any greater anymore, and the amount of normal mats from morph was reduced by a lot, with 4k dp u can morph only 20x normal mats now/instead of 60 before. even materials needed for 1 scroll, are 3x or more now, and u craft only 3x scrolls not 5x like before. best way now to gather mats is the old school, walking on a map and gather gather. i repeat, the morphs, nvm if u will take a fort to buy em, they will self delete from your morph list at the 1st use.

What do you mean "players lack knowledge when it comes to PvE"?

EB Cant be done. this server literally runs on some 4.8 instances.
Instances that are do-able although bugged:
1. IS (4.0)
2. SSB (4.0) - damage from bosses are higher than they are supposed to be but lets say it works.
3. Linkgate (4.7) - mobs bugged. Dont move. Did you check the rewards?
4. Illuminary obelisk - drops are so shit that I am tired of doing it 'here'. Not sure if it even works now but lets assume it does.
5. EB - You proudly said EB but any person who plays aion even with an IQ as low as 50 would easily say that it is not possible in a private server. Rewards are useless and unless the mobs are greatly nerfed you just cant do it.

Instances that cant be done.
1. Idgel Dome (4.7)
2. Danaur Relinquary (Infernal) 4.7
3. Illuminary Obelisk (Infernal) 4.7
4. Adma's fall (5.0).
5. Theobomos Test center (5.0)
6.Drakenspire Depths (4.8)
7. Occupied Rentus base
8. And every instance (incl. reshanta ones)

Extraction doesn't work.
Aion 5.0 came with new Arch daeva items and instances which dont drop and dont work.

Why should players PvE when there is no content?

If you have free time, try fixing some bugs and make yourself useful since you so proudly slander us being a staff member.

@Smokingguns I see you are making an habit of pointing out so much that is wrong but offer no postive remarks in regards to the topic of this thread.

Slander as a staff member? Hardly. You complain about crap drops, etc but do not understand the first thing about fixing anything. So since you want to make this thread into your own little outlet to bash staff and the work they do, and steer the thread away from it's intended purpose.....
