So I encountered this player today.

We were playing pvp in heiron and encountered some elyos -- an assassin and a gladiator. We were on pursuit, they went on separate ways. We decided to chase the gladiator instead -- however, we thought that we just lagged because our characters are not attacking him. Not one bit. But no, we can sheathe our weapons and use our consumables which means our connection is stable. And we're just pressing our keys as hard as we can but not doing anything against the gladiator.

We were shocked when his teammate -- the assassin, attacked us from behind. We manage to attack and kill the assassin, but we cannot hit the gladiator. By the way, the gladiator was only standing with no obstacle in the way.

I know that there is a specific place to post this. But I don't know how to check combat logs; and if I can, I don't think it will do any proof since we cannot attack him anyway. I have a screenshot, moments before the assassin attacked us.

The question is: is this another hack?

Experiened this before, the system says "You are too far away from the target" even he was close with no obstacles yet i can't attack him but he can. It was also a gladiator but i guess this is just a weird bug.

 

Sadly, i dont have a video as a proof. (I dont have any video programs yet). That's why I know that this will be a weak report.

 

It's just malicious because he stopped for a moment, then we cant attack him. Im also hoping that this is just a bug.

i think the server is not instable!

and some player u cant attack becuz of lag! not in your internet! i mean in the server!

 

It's unstable, not instable. Anyway, do you know what does "unstable" means?

Anyway, to answer that.. It might be some kind of bug, but not hack. Try to install some recording apps and take a video or remember the name of the player/gladiator to be exact and tell the staffs to investigate it so they could fix that bug and if that player is abusing that bug, welp.. you already know what will happen.

 

yea right its a bug.. me too when i was inside 1v1.. the countdown ends but still says inappropriate target.. so gg

 

Well, before the update, I encountered some bugged people with "too far away from the target" or "inappropriate target". But what I do is:

When I am a bard, I always run, and when he gets close to me, I use Dance Off skill (AoE sleep).
When I am a cleric, run and heal babe. HAHAHA.
Gladiator: AoE skills will do.
