Is it worth comming back after 3/4 years..

Hello everyone, I was wondering if it's worth comming back? I used to play on Siel. I somehow forgot the name of my gladiator lol. Back then it was fun pvp, even thou it was most of the time zerg pvp. Now im thinking of comming back again but i've my doubts.. Are there still many players active? Have the pvp changed since then or is it still zerg pvp?? And if I comming back to play, how much euro's i need to donate to get full set, acces, weaps etc etc..

 

I can say, you as an old player, is nice to come back again because of the new update. Well there are a lot of people active, especially in Siel server. The pvp is sometimes zerging sometimes not, in depends on the moods of the players? Lol. And for sure, you need to spend a lot, like a lot if you want to get the newest gear, which is Boundless.

The starter items are:
Special Elite Ambassador Weapons
Special Elite Ambassador Set
Special Elite Ambassador Accessories
All with Level 2 Augment.
Arbiter/Proctor/Suzerain/Principal sets and weapons can be bought through NPC in Kaisinel Academy/Marchutan's Priory.
Elite Arbiter/Elite Principal sets and weapons can be bought in web shop with 1.5k credits each part or weapon.
Boundless Honor/Protector sets, weapons and accessories can be bought in web shop with 3.5k per part (weapon, access, set), the best gears/items in the server atm.
As for the extendables, Provenance weapons can be bought with 2.5k vip credits.

We also have Website Enchantment, where you can enchant your Boundless Weapons & Armor parts without failing (to avoid failure & breaking the item). It has 100% success, and it only costs some credits every level of enchantment.

Thanks allot, Yeah i surely need to catch up allot of things. I stopped with aion because of work and most of the people i used to play with lived on other Side of the world, so I basically pvp'd most of time alone..that made me quit. I hope to get my new gaming computer within a few days so i can run aion smoothly..

There are still zerg PvP in open world but I guess it's something you can never removed from the nature of this PvP in this game genre but there are custom battle grounds that has no or less zerg depending on which battle ground it is.

Getting the starter gear is as close as free right now but the end game gear cost a lot and trust me when I say a lot, I mean a lott. Here's the math for the end game gear.

armor : 3, 500 credits x 5 pieces = 17, 500 credits
weapon : 3, 500 credits / 2, 500 credits (if you are melee and you used extendable weapon instead of boundless)
accessories w/ headgear : 3, 500 credits x 7 pieces = 24, 500 credits
wings : 3, 500 credits (from trade instead of webshop)
manastones : 750 credits x 42 pieces (at least because the manastone can fail so you might need more than 42 pieces) = 31, 500 credits
enchanting : 3100 credits x 7 pieces (wings + 5 pieces of armor + weapon) = 21, 700 credits
vip status for enchanting discount : 1, 500 credits
total : 103, 700 credits

credit cost : 1$ = 100 credits
103, 700 / 100 = 1, 037 $
total cost in euro : 942 €

You also need around 500 to 1000 tempering solutions to make your 7 pieces of accessories +10 depending on your luck but this one is obtainable in game. Voting gives 15 credits per vote for VIPs so if you can vote twice per day thats 150 credits x 31 = 4650 credits from 1 month of voting without missing at all. There are events to help out decrease the cost but that's the raw cost of it.
