Aion is badly optimized and more dependant on cpu. Yeah, it's "ok" to play aion but even with a 1080 you won't get 60fps in the cities on everything maxed out

I think 1080 will be so overkill, 1060 will do :D

Got the MSI 1070 gaming one recently and pretty happy with it. Witcher 3 max settings constant 60 fps (60 is the cap there), rise of the tomb raider max settings like 90 fps. Think 1060 is the next gold standard people should go for. Previously the best value for money cards were the 970 and 770. The 1070 should have followed but it is priced much higher than nvidia originally announced.

The 1070's is one hell of a card also but the price gap with 1060 is x2 so i'll just go for 1060 and spend the rest of money on some parts like SSD :D

far more than enough , i'm using 770 only, and im running excellent on everything. when it comes to a lot of characters in one place, GPU does not help you with it, only CPU does.

Beware using dual 1060s, it is not recommended. They are not SLI enabled and the only time you will get performance from both is with DirectX12 games (DX12 is only on Windows 10 and there are hardly any games at the moment and won't be for quite some time). The main benefit of DX12 is utilizing any and all graphics hardware in a machine (integrated graphics from Intel CPUs, Nvidia, AMD, it can make them all work together).
I upgraded from the 770. It is in no way a bad graphics card. The performance is still really great...until you hit the vram limit. The 2gb vram is the reason the upgrade was so worth it. 8gb vram on the 1070 will last for quite a while.
