Getting back to Aion

Hi guys!

It has been 6 years since I last played Gamez Aion, I have just downloaded it again and trying to get used to new locations and everything.

Has any of you played the game back in that time?

I remember it to be very different, much less players now, old PVP places like Heiron are basically empty, I don't see many people in the Elyos Square in Sancturn, there was a lot of action going to Dark Poeta for bosses...

It would be nice if any of you guys could brief me about whats going on with the game nowadays. Thanks a lot

 

I'll make you a very very short review.
Right now how you could already tell, we don't have the same amount of players we had that many years ago, but, let's not forget it's an 7 years old game and its a private server. So, at the moment we have various battlegrounds going on every hour~. Our open world PvP is located in Heiron, that's what the community voted for when we made a poll asking what map should the PvP be moved to. Gears have changed as well; Boundless is the end game gear that can only be bought in the webshop.
You start the game with a ok gear, it works enough for you to do a couple PvE battlegrounds to farm enough Abyss Points to buy Proctor gears (arbiter), these ones do pretty good in PvP if you enchant them to +20. You start with the second best PvP accessories and a attack speed and speed tittle. There's plenty old legions in both side, so you might as well try your luck and find someone you used to play with so many years ago.

do we still have lumiel with stigma system?

 

Yes, we still have Lumiel but now it is EU server and the population there has decreased a lot. There is still a lot of players on Siel, at the rush hours there would be 200+ players online. The main pvp area is Heiron, which gets quite zergy at times. There are also battlegrounds available at certain hours.
