True, but he probably means noob... And he's not wrong.

However, I would suggest playing a class before making a comment on how OP it is because until you play it, you don't truly know. Songweavers are a very powerful class. They can effectively solo in PvE and PvP, and they're very efficient in DPS or support. However they have weaknesses and counter classes just like all the other classes do. You just need to study... Something which most people seem incapable of doing.

Use Google...
Search "Aion Songweaver how to play"
Watch a few videos and figure out how to counter their important skills...

Easy peasy bro. If you can't do that, then you obviously shouldn't play Aion, cause that's as hard as it gets. From there, just pick a class and build your set... MB... MR... Whatever it is, you just need to study your counterclass and go for it.

 

Anyone can kill a bard whether you're playing glad, ranger or sorc. If you keep complaining on how op they are, then it only proves that you don't know how to play your class effectively.

 

Plate in group > all classes

He never actually mentioned what his class or gear are in the first place. One thing to note is that gear matters more than anything else in this game. For example, if you are a magical class with full Magic Boost set going against full Magic Resist, this is the one game where your opponent pretty much has godmode against you. Similar situation arises when you face someone with fully enchanted gear while yours isn't (or PVP set while you have a PVE one).

So yea play style and skills are only a part of the story. Gear can completely decide a fight as well.

 

sw's are op indeed but if you always hunt them down you'll find their weakness...trust me

If you are meaning this as joke it was a very good one if not then block stat apply on with shield in hand

bards are OP now. just wait till 5.1 . fully geared Glads will dominate Gamez Aion full stigma. with body and mind and magic defence is +2000 Msupp . Glads can hit hard and tank both melee and Magic classes. This server is broken . One day NCsoft will update something that will Break the game mechanic so bad on this server. With this much Msupp on a cloth set AT's / Gunners / Bards / Sorcs is gonna have a problem. Sm's well ... lol.. they still might have a chance still.

You do know this server doesn't always follow retail right? PVP damage reductions for example have been altered on multiple occasions in the past. If any skills is clearly too unbalanced, the effects of it can be modified to make it more reasonable.

 

In that case. Sw's are unbalanced at this state. Everyone knows it's cancerous in this server. I havent seen any modifactions on that .

 

People in this thread seem to have a different opinion Plenty saying they have a weakness that you just have to find. Overall I don't have an opinion on this as I haven't played Aion for a long time now. I do know they were quite annoying when they came out on retail, but that was a long time ago.
