Is it really just as toxic as retail??

Black Desert embraces, encourages and even forces PvP more than other MMO's. Surely it'll attract some toxic people in it (or at least people who try to prove that they're alpha, yes I know it's a sad story )

But in the end, with the right guild, I'm sure you can enjoy BDO much more than any other MMO games out there due to its vast play style that you can pick. But I should underline that the retail is a one big massive grindfest. So private server like this one is better for more enjoyment.

Also if you see a toxic character, just ignore them You'll inflict the most damage by ignoring such person.
