Referal bonuses

I see a huge opportunity for mass exploitation right there People already have multiple accounts, multivote etc. This would encourage it even further.

The one way this could work is if the referred account "donates" (let's face it, this is item mall), you would get a % credit reward based on however many credits they bought. This would prevent people from referring dummy accounts just to get free stuff.

 

Or simply when the player reach like 100-200hours of gametime,
again commented on blackdesert online .. fck me lol

 

Same principles apply Also thought about that, but if it is worth it I am pretty sure there are people that don't mind running multiple clients and afking on them for several days.

 

Hmm, why not give the two people bonuses when they party up and farm together? Though that might still lead to Dummy B just following Dummy A?

 

When it is free to do, it generally does result in this. Most referral bonuses I have seen on other games involve criteria that complicate it for people that would want to create fake accounts to refer. The most common one is generally requiring the 2nd account to make some sort of real money payment, whether it be buy to play games (account activation) or games with item mall (buying virtual currency). I am pretty sure it doesn't make a good impression when someone logs in and sees the game full of bots or fake accounts instead of actual players.
