We are really in a good place now

Well as the title says we are really in a good place now, it really feels as a private server. However, just 1 thing that is killing us, the infamous WIPE. if the rates stay like this there is no need to wipe. Everything will gradually get fixed little by little and thing are simple enough to get, yes the people that abused bugs to get PEN are still here but it don't matter thanks to the new drop rates we are able to get stuff to try 'em ourselves, myself included.
I know that you guys have the ultimate decision on this, but let the players decide, after all is us who populate the server.

I know server need donation, but Im sure there are a ton of stuff that can be arranged to do that. Think about the wipe, most of your player base is scared because of this.

The current high rates will remain after the wipe. It is not just the PEN stuff people got due to the cron stone bug abuse, but also because there are Kzarka and Nouver weapons around.
I believe it is way easier to farm now since @Carl drastically increased the rates, which means it will be easy to farm after the wipe.
Lets also not forget that anyone who participates in beta will be rewarded after we release.

As for the donation you mentioned, thats right. There are many ways to attract people to donate to the server. But as you can see we are still in beta and everything will be wiped once we release. There is no point to do so now considering the fact we know how it will end.

 

I know and I get everything that you are saying, but you guys also have to understand that BDO is a game that requires time to be put into. Oh well maybe is just me sad to see it all go to waste with the uncertainty of whatever it is we getting as reward after wipe. But let's hope for the best, I'll be here as long as real life permits it.

In the end, every MMO needs time to be put into if you want to achieve superior things. And there are persons, which do lack the time to invest countless hours into a game as they've got RL aswell. That's the turning point where a private server with higher rates makes up for it by getting everything faster.

Without wanting to sound offending, if you want retail like features, go play retail..

 

I am actually exited the rates are the way they are. I managed to get my weps PEN and most of my accs DUO, rocking a beautiful 200DP and 214AP. And it took me a bit of time to achieve all that. But oh well if the rates stay after wipe it can be achieved again quick.

I'm glad you managed to get good stuff and you will be able to get the same even after the wipe because the current rates will remain as I already said.

No Noyah, they were and then after the next restart it went down. Like I said on discord, If you guys didn't like the rates so high and us getting tons of stuff, just tell us. Don't say rates are 10x or that Life skill is fine we play every day, and we notice the difference when something changes

 

The rates have been increased and the intention was to keep it that way. Now if there is a problem and the rates change after every server restart then admin has to be aware of whats going on. I will forward this to Carl. Thank you.

Because right now, rates feel pretty low, like maybe 1-2x higher than before you guys did the "rates have been increased by 10X" only that night were good, the restart that came after that took it away, and every restart after that feels like it takes it lower

 

It is something to work on
