Hi i know everyone is busy in their aion update i need help my aion got error what i need to do? please help me

Deleting the Patch folder should help.

 

Didn't help for me It just ends up wasting time redownloading up to that point and errors out again. Eventually I gave up. Wanted a clean client but yea, NCsoft fails at this. Even a clean installation did this to me repeatedly. Couldn't get anywhere close to getting the client through it.

 

I think it s just a random problem, wasn't any error for me from ncsoft.

 

the live version of Aion has that on their forums to download, i had to do it with mine too....
it's just a mess up of Aion's dev's that they break installation

 

what is the cause of the $patch$ is that really not required? why during updating that $patch$ is included on downloaded file?

 

The patch folder is a temporary storage where the launcher downloads the relevant archives and extracts them. Only when they are extracted are they merged into the regular client. On successful completion of a patch/update, the folder should be automatically deleted.

Had the same error years ago on a different pc in a different country. A lot of the times it is the same file, sometimes a different one. Mostly it is one of the meshes. There is no known fix that would guarantee for it to work and yea, retail forums are full of this stuff.
