AION GameCLient crash

does that mean the error message of no game server blah blah message aswell cos I cant actually get into game cos that's all I get

 

Try the old .bat launcher from the 5.0 client. It still works, meaning if you can login with it then it is a launcher problem. If you can't, it is a client problem.

when i run as administrator.. its still not working so i try to do it again and guess what... it's still on read only files

 

it didn't fix my launcher crash this way too, but, it worked when i open the gamezaion folder, and manually unstick read-only all the folders inside one by one, try it, maybe it will fix your launcher crash too

You will need to extract it.

You did the opposite. The box should be empty, but yours now has a tick mark in it.

It always asks if you want to apply it to all sub-folders as well. His says "Only applies to files in folder" so he did something halfway.

 

that's why it's weird, i did chose to apply it on all subfolders , and it didnt work, it only work, after i unstick all the folders one by one, idk whats wrong with my windows 10

 

Microsoft follows the philosophy of "our users are too stupid, let's restrict their access to everything" That's why they have the whole SmartScreen filter thing, User Account Control etc. When you try do things yourself, in a lot of cases they still stop you from doing it. This is why I turn those 2 things off whenever I get on a pc.

I couldn't answer neither try any solution earlier because I was at work.

THE PROBELM IS NOW SOLVED

The issue came from 360 Total Security suite.
What is really weird is : this moning I tottaly turned off the security suite and I still got the AionCleitn crash.
Right now, I just put it into GameMod and the game loaded well.

By the way I haven't solved my "read only issue". I mean when I click to unckeck "read only" and then click apply and/or "Ok" I see the progression but as soon as I close the property window and open another property window, the read only was still ckecked (but not the files into GamzeAion directory). I tried with command line attrib /? but it didn't work.
Finally it was just a antivirus issue.

so i Downloaded a new copy of aion from ncsoft and i got this issue, game client crash with sendlog! i tryed to use the 32bat, it works, but i want to work it on gamez launcher, please help me how to fix this issue tnxxxxxxxx

 

I have the same issue ... Apparently NcSoft is aware of this because it happens even for official server players. I hope it won't take too long, but I've seen plenty of posts that are pretty new about it on forums. Seems like it happens since a patch.

 

coco and kessi is helping me but all the step that they suggest is not working, im getting the same issue, the weird thing is 32 bat file is working 100% but the gamez launcher not. im on 64bit OS.. so sad i couldn't run if directly from gamez launcher...

Have a different kind of help to offer. Seems like 64bit dll injection is no longer required, so you can have a 64bit .bat launcher

Not sure which of the launcher problems you have, but I can't get mine to work either. The moment the launcher closes and the Aion banner pops up, my pc hard freezes and I have to kill power. After about 10 hard freezes I quit trying to make it work. I will stick to the 64bit .bat launcher.
