they don't need to refunt.

u know the meaning of a "donation" right?

if you donate u know there is a risk of loseing your "reward"

 

i know its voluntary but its a protocol so as they say ive played private servers for 10 long years and i think thats enough experience to assume that every wipe really refunds donations, thats why wipe out is a bad idea lol :ninja:

 

Just as an FYI, if you knew how the server worked, then you'd know that purging old characters would not help server stability.

There is a post about this problem and they are looking into it as some other servers have the same problem

 

it seems that there maybe a internal issue with the server

 

quite frankly if memory leaks due to the numbers of online members, meaning the the capacity of online members has been met and if RAM upgrade is not an option heres a little wise suggestion:

new/old member move to another Pservers and not adding the volume on the server thats already crawling.

They won't make outside of morhiem a no fly zone as it is going make alot of Asmo characters mad and would be pointless. This is a PvP server, so its bound to happen. ( is this your first MMORPG game?)

They made Heiron and beluslan no fly except in the cities. Only gliding in those areas.

 

I think the memory is not caused by the actual memory but because the emulator probaly not support all the memory so it can't be fully used. And i think the server remembers everything what is done and don't dump the data. so that will create a large ammount of memory uses without the persoon even be online.

 

Maybe something like only one IP can register one account after the wipe?

 

You do realize that the only reason it's called a "donation" is so that the server owner doesn't get sued right? They're not actually donations. People buy gear, plain and simple, so when they lose their gear, they have the right to get a refund, and that's what they do, they get a chargeback. If they don't they're idiots.
