Issues With Updates P2P

I was wondering is there any hope that there come a day that we can download the whole update rather then having to deal with P2P Torrent style the many ISP block or slow to a crawl at best?
I know you prefer the Torrent type service but really it is killing many players or outright preventing folks to play altogether.

At this point I have done all the Firewalls and all and I am at 54 peers at a blazing 0.15MB/s.
Guy come up with something to help us move along. Torrents are a targeted peer system and really any game/s I think would build a file and support system around it then basing on a targeted P2P system.

Any other options?

 

i have 100 mbps connection, my download speed on launcher is only 0.16 MB/S
i wish we could download patch on mirrors. i'm on the blocked region so i cannot use retail launcher to update it. i already allowed the launcher on my firewalls still slow download speed

 

Most mirror download options will cost them money, although some aren't very expensive at all and I'm sure there's some free options out there, I'm not quite sure. Hosting multiple individual torrents could also be a solution rather than just the one integrated in the launcher.

I haven't seen any private servers before where Mirror/Direct downloads aren't available so this does strike me as quite odd..

 

As of now we don't have any alternative downloads but I believe @Carl is aware of the situation.

What I'm going to say is going to improve your mood, that's for sure.
I have 200mb and as of now my download is 2.1mb/s and I can't get past 3mb/s

 

7 hours pc open. still 38% . i'm only getting 0.16 mb/s
anyway, if latest patch will be uploaded on mediafire, google drive, or mega, it will be fast, if possible to upload the latest patch there

 

We used to have direct downloads during the beta times. It takes time to upload the client but it's not impossible.

 

i open my resource monitor, it seems the launcher doesn't download from the seedboxes, they download only in the pc's seeding.

Restart the launcher.
Don't worry, you won't have to download the patch again but you will have to be patient and wait few minutes.

If anyone is stuck at "Finalizing" for too long, close the launcher, open gamezbd.status file in client folder and set 0 to 1, then reopen launcher. Hope this helps as it was a tip from another staff member just now. Good luck! <3
