We need more BDO forum event

Why does Aion have a lot while we only get one?

Because Aion is an older game and BDO is newer. Idk anything about your coders, you should probably ask them @Orkide @cocosul

@topic: because aion is the oldest running server in this community that's why we got many events. that's what BDO goes tho.

 

I will also be doing more forum events xD It's just that Christmas is very close and I have been very busy at home D: I want to be thorough, not just rush through them You guys deserve quality <3

 

No, that's just favoritism and that's unfair to the BDO community. They are highly capable of doing the same amount of events at the same time since those don't really affect content. Aion got 5 open events while BDO only had 1 and now it's closed. They wrote that the event will stay up until Dec. 20th on that last one but they ended it a day early which is pretty stupid?

 

I closed it on the 19th because I held the 3rd round on the 19th at players' request. It was approved for 3 rounds (3 days) so I could not extend it for another. That being said, Aion has more staff than BDO, most likely because they are a larger community at this time, my guess anyway. That was also my first event, and as I said before, I have been very busy at home preparing for the holidays. There will be more very soon.

 

That's understandable. Everyone gets busy irl. All i'm saying is his excuse that Aion is an "older" game is a bad one because a game could be a day old and can still push out 5 events at the same if the staffs want to. About event dates, i suggest that you write "event date is subject to change" on your post in the future because i'm like those people who will hold you for your word. I was really expecting for the last round to happen on the last day because of time differences and it would only make sense to do it that way.

 

I am open to advice, and will keep this in mind. I am very strong on holding myself accountable.

 

It is indeed a very bad excuse But don't worry I can assure you there will be many BDO events coming soon.

and ofc it's because aion is older than bdo, try look at aion events section to see.
BUT if you're talking about the no. of OPEN events then it must because of the no. of staffs to host an event. Why don't you apply to host yours? :3
I'm not making any execuses, why would I?
Anyway, i don't have to keep on replying this thread anymore. I don't need to ruin my day just because of giving my opinion.
