gamezbd.status is super problematic

Alright.. So I've been playing this game for about a month and suddenly an update a couple days ago messed up the whole game.
Whenever I click START to play the game, a notification saying something like gamezbd.status needs permission to access or something..
I looked up in this forum and apparently some people had the same issue back in 2017 hence, I tried those solutions:

1. untick read only from gamezbd.status (by default it's already unticked anyway).
2. Doing all the gpedit.msc Noyah suggested to the other user who had the same issue.
3. Uninstall the game and reinstalling it.

None of these works..
What is wrong here? any help will be appreciated. thanks!

 

Perhaps your Firewall is interfering but not sure of course since mine is working fine

 

So, Don't take my advice. That's a bad thing to say right away. However as a last resort. This will wipe all your settings Deleting the User-cache/Temp files in your Documents might work? Usually it helps improve some peoples fps... Don't quote me if it doesn't work. Cheers

 

Did you try to delete to gamezbd.status from Black Desert Online folder?

 

Found a way to fix it.. delete everything, shut down, reinstall everything. weird... but works

 

It has to work Anyways, glad you found another way.
