persisting "Failed to int security" error.

Hello,
this is what i have done:

• force check, done
• exceptions on firewall, AV and windows defender, done
• admin privilege to launcher and clients32x64x, done
• vcard drivers update, done
• AV, firewall and windows defender off, done
• Version.dat renamed, done
• windows restarted every time, done

I'm getting annoyed. help please.
what else i need to do?
edit: uncheck "private" on firewall, done

 

Someone told me they had this issue and they went to version.dat -> config.filecheck

hey! i was playing normally until yesterday but it started suddenly and still persisting, i did everything i could. when i rename the version.dat to config.filecheck the launcher says it: help what should i do

 

It needs to be pathed to BDO folder.

 

its already pathed, but when i change version.dat it just doesn't recognize but when i put it back to version.dat it does fine but failed to init security. already set exception on firewall/antivirus, searched for some info on forums but nothing works

 

So let me see If i understood you. You want us to rename the file via RETAIL BDO Folder or GameZBDO Folder??? Cause if its on the GameZBDO folder, I have done it and still have the same issue...

I did it that way and it I'm still having that issue.... so Im on the same boat as you. if you find a solution let me know.!

here is what is says to do
21. Sorry, client didn't support enabled TestSigning
Open a command prompt as adminstrator (CTRL+R, write 'cmd' and tap the <ENTER> button) and write the following command:

Bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING OFF
After you change the testsigning boot configuration option, restart the computer for the change to take effect.

 

My testsigning is off and the msg change for Sorry, Client didn't enabled testsigning code1".

 

Did I say anything about renaming the folder? I don't think so

Which error are you getting? "Can't find game files in the specific directory"?

 

I see today is the day everyone misunderstands me even though is clear..
Let me rephrase it for you.
1. The file Version.dat. You want us to rename it to config.filecheck or config.filecheck.dat ? If so in with folder do you want us to patch it in? the /BDO Official Release or on the /BDO Private Server ??
2. I think you tagged me in the wrong one silly cause the error I'm getting is the "failed-to-init security"

Well first of all I didn't say anythin about renaming version.dat, I suggest you to read the thread again before calling someone else silly.
Also, just because you replied to this "persisting failed to init security" it doesn't mean you have the same problem as these people have. There were cases when the problems were completely different, I have to make sure what the problem is before I give a solution.

As for your questions, try the following.
1. Create a copy of official BDO folder, rename the folder to GamezBDO and point gamezbd launcher to that.
2. Rename version.dat to config.filecheck - it forces complete file check for corruption and requires the files that are corrupted.
3. Make sure to add BDO folder and GamezBD launcher as an exceptions in your antivirus and firewall.

 

LOL.. My bad Noyah... just noticed it was @Lareldal that posted it D:. tough you replied to me instead of the other dude, so Silly is still valid <3 also true as each problem has to be solved differently due to different machines ETC....

as for the above.. I done all of this and yet the Issue Persists.. if you want I can post all the troubleshooting steps I took ^-^
