I've been trying to launch the game since early last night but every time I click start, the launcher freezes and the game never launches.

I've monitored task manager when I click start and notice the executable appears for a second and then closes, and then nothing happens afterwards except for the launcher remaining frozen. I've let this run for a half hour with no results.

I've tried uninstalling the launcher, clearing the folder, reinstalling the laucnher, removing all gamez data, cleared caches, removed the appdata directories, replacing the gamesBDO executable that has been suggested in other posts.

I have run the programs both elevated and unelevated.

My system is up to date.

BTW: I noticed when the launcher launches the bdo executable, it seems to pass usernames and passwords in plaintext format. This seems rather insecure, despite being just launch flags. >.>

Included is my most recent launcher log file.

Windows 10, had some friends run into the issue with both windows 7 and windows 8.

    added to antivirus and firewalls.

    No protection.

At this point I've uninstalled the client entirely as I've wasted too much time with it and those plaintext username+password flags sketch me out way too heavily.
