EU Players / Ping / Will there maybe be anything done in the future ?

this probably got asked alot already, but I just asked myself if there is a possibility to have some kind of EU Server or something for the EU People to play on without lag somewhere in the future?

I'm from Germany and constantly playing with 150-200 Ping really really sucks alot, I can't imagine having competetive PvP if ur enemy has like 20 Ping while I got 170.

I don't think thats the point of an PvP oriented Server.

Maybe it's just because I'm used to having around 20 in every game.

Sure, you can get "used" to it, but maybe now that the Server is getting more and more Users, you can think about doing something like that in the coming months/years ?


Or will it stay like this forver ?

Idk if it's worth to keep playing so much if i know for a fact that its gonna be laggy forever, sure it's fun but I hate being at a disadvantage in PvP

 

pretty sure you're not the only one with 150-200+ ping...ofc there will be players having a better ping, anyway that's part of the MMOs

 

Yes, obviously.

Ping difference is always there, true.

But since the server is ONLY in Michigan, the ping difference is way to huge between players.



Idk, you gotta live with it, sure, but it's not a bad idea to change something in the future.

Now just every EU Player is bascially fucked, and since theres no other good Privat Server with 2-3k Players as far as I know they have to play here

This Server is getting more and more players, it's getting more competetive, so it should be optimized as perfect as possible.

 

The server was officially launched few time ago, it already has a really high amount of players. What more there are lots of stuff to fix and think over, i wouldn't care about the ping for now since as i said you're not the only one with that ping but there are players with even higher ping. If your straight point and question is if there will be an EU server, then dunno but it might be they will keep it in consideration...i'm pretty sure as for now there are lots of other things to take care before that.

Unluckily nobody does magic, but think a bit over...if there are about 3k players the server wouldn't be so bad and unplayable.

 

I asked Kolka about this for other players in discord. His answer was this: its as discussion and its ended with no sure answer, had many variants and eu server was one of them.

 

Dont think we have the player base to open a totally new server.

 

Well, I am from germany too. usually run 120/130ms to gamez. Now one of my buddies lives close to the server. When I fight him, he used to get up from all CC super quick because of the ping difference. That is a slight minus. But apart from that. I never really had any issues with ping.
