Is the hedgehog in premium store worth it?

Is it worth the Money? Will it work as an afk money maker?

 

It gathers once every 5 minutes from a plant or crop, things you dont need tools for, so no rocks or trees. If you are wondering if it will make alot of money each night afk, then the answer would be no, but it does come in handy, as it can give you even a few shards over night. Not many, but still comes in handy.

 

This isnt available on NA EU retail if im not mistaken so is this taken from KR and activated here? I ask cuz I have one and never been giving anything from it, do i need to be standing near a bush or crop for it to work?

 

Ok so it wouldn't make a good replacement for other afk activities?

 

I'm not quite sure if it's from the KR version, but I suppose it is possible. Yes, you do need to be within gathering distance from the bush, plant, or crop for it to be able to gather. I assume the same distance it would need to be able to loot from a mob. I have randomly picked up a shard or other resources just by standing at the altinova mp or running past farms as i'm traveling the map.

Not really, it is more to help supplement said afk activities, not as a replacement, I assume. Whether it is worth the price is all up to the person considering it.

Is the webshop hedgehog different then the one in the Amerigos package? Cuz mine doesnt say auto gather, its special is gathering amount increased which sometimes procs double loot when gathering (non shards). Plus I been processing next to a few bushes and fruit trees for a while now and hes just sitting there and not looting anything lol.

 

You need allow it to use the special ability. Pet menu -> Compass Icon -> Make it yellow.

 

It uses one energy when it gathers, but the rate in which it gathers and the rate in which you recover energy, may as well say it does not.

Yes, they are completely different hedgehogs. The one from the pearlshop does what you mentions. The one from the webshop autogathers once every 5 minutes from a plant (of any gatherable kind), but not trees or rocks.

 

Sorry last question I promise. Do they loose food at the same rate as the other pets?

Ok so if anyone's interested I bought 2, I think if I've no processing or beer to do then it could be a good way to AFK, not necessarily for money but to top up on herbs. Where would you say would be best to afk with them, I forget what's gatherable by hand, material wise.

RNG, just like when you are gathering by hand

 

I can honestly say its kind usefull when you plan to do alchemy stuff. It comes kinda usefull and profitable after longer period of time because you always gather some herbs/weeds and sometimes shards when doing everything else.
Its definetly good to have one, but im not sure if its good enough to have 4-5 of them.

 

100% worth it! Often, when I am afk crafting/processing, my hedgehog will gather tons of alchemy gatherables & even.....hards/sharps. When I am out and about, especially traveling from place to place, the lil guy will pluck a lucky sharp without me doing a thing. Great investment.

 

Yeah I got 2 to see how they got on. Quite impressed to be honest, I don't really do alchemy but I may look into it now I've an abundance of materials. I wouldn't use them as a replacement for most other AFK activities but it's an option if things get quiet.
