Launcher Recognizing Steam BD

    I installed the community provided bdo, and I want to switch the launcher to recognize that one instead. How do I got about that.

    Log out of the gamezbd launcher and go to settings in the upper right corner. You can then path gamez to the retail folder you wish to use

    I dont have the option to do that as the launcher is updating

    You can try closing and loading the launcher again. If it automatically starts updating the installation that you don't want updated then I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the launcher. The launcher application is separate from the game installation.

    After you downloaded the game through the forum links, I assume you have two different folders of the game.
    Navigate to 'My Documents' and create a copy of Black Desert folder, rename that folder to 'GamezBDO' and let the launcher finish the update. Then you will be able to set the path.
