Newbie question :)

Hi i'm back and I have gotten noob since theres a lot of things that has been added to the game.

Just 2 question: Which is better, Archdaeva or Elite Arbiter? TIA

A detailed information about this is highly appreciated and i'm hoping this thread will help a lot of newbies or old geezer that is confused here as well

 

EA has pvp defense but you can just put ancient/dual manastones, hence your stats will not be that high at all.
Archdaeva has a so little amount of pvp defense but you can gain higher stats socketing archdaeva manastones.
If you're a magical class, i suggest you to use EA gear since Magic Boost is capped to near 5.5k (you can get archdeava set and socket with Accupracy/Precision "same" to gain a bit more of MagAccy).
If you're a physical class and aiming to "boost" your dmg, then it's better if you use archdeava...classes as sins/glads/temps prefere that because as sin you have burst dmg, and as plate you should survive a bit longer compared to other classes.
Besides this, you can't really compete with whom has BL/Prime gear, at least not in a clear 1v1.

 

Wow, nice. So by physical class you that includes ranger as well right? So if you were going to use a ranger what set would you get?

 

In that case, it's better having both gears...ranger requres a good amount of Magical Accuracy to lend magical skills (the most) and accuracy too to avoid blocks/parried agaisnt those BL geared.
You could use Archdeava build with power+9 manastones against cloths, so you might kill them faster, and could think over about EA agaisnt mele classes when you're not sure about your enemy's gear (in that case it's better if you cover your blind properly so you will evade some attack and will be able to use archdeava-power build to kill faster)...those are PvP strategies that you should "study" on your own.

 

EA all the ways, if you don't want to die in seconds,just make diff builds with ea sets. Archdaeva is only good for remodeling, lacking the pvp def it's a very bad thing at all. The only thing that you need, it's the main weapon bl, full accuracy (new ms +9) and ofc the 50 essence points on accuracy , so you can handle most of the ppls.

 

I go for EA, it depends on your build anyway. Also I agree with cocosoul that you should rather have a BL weap with archdaeva MS +9

 

Obviously if you have BL weapons it's quite better, as sin you will prefere to quick nuke your opponent isntead of survive a bit longer. As plate...especially being glad, you're supposed to PvP in group and with a pretty good cleric which knows how to heal/dispell properly, you can still survive and deal dmg with archdaeva (berserking isn't unlimited)...after all it's up to you.
