Resolved Stuck on now processing forever! Resolved!

NEw member, it was hell trying to sign up. Can’t get past now processing. I’m so frustrated I’m ready to uninstall!

Resolved as follows …. Thanks to past exp with this, I finally remembered how to solve. ..

Type MSc in the search bar to the right of the windows logo on the screen and after typing the c, you should see a choice for system configuration. click on System Configuration. Then click on the services tab. Put a checkmark in the box Hide Microsoft Services.

Now, disable everything, it will clear the checkboxes. I took pictures as I went along as I did the following.

Apply the changes and hit OK, system will reboot.
Attempt to run the game, if it runs with this clean boot then you are halfway to solving the problem.

Just go through page by page checking stuff that isn't checked, taking pics for memory if you want. Continue this process until you've checked something that stops the game from loading. In my case it was Seagate Dashboard and backup software. From now on I'll just stick to Acronis or another backup solution.

I even tried with antivirus and firewall shut down.

 

The last step says to try rescuing a character. I have no characters at all. I can't even get to the character creation screen!

 

Hello @GarryFre I am sorry to hear you are having trouble entering the game itself, we are many who at one point or another have had similar issues, the good news is that we are all now able to play with little trouble, yeah I know that does not help you at all at the moment but consider that it is only your setup or specific situation that is your current problem.

The thing that has surprisingly helped me several times is the most simple of fixes; Force-Check is your friend. In the launcher before you login there is a small box with the word "Settings" on it, if you click that you can choose to do a Force-Check then your copy of the game will be compared to the current version on the server as well as fixed.
If this does not help then try downloading the launcher as stated in the Errors and Solutions Section forwarded to you by the lovely @Lareldal and once again run the program as an administrator to see if that will solve this particular issue, it is not a GamezBD problem since if it were none of us would be able to login, however I do get your frustration so please let us know whether any of that helped at all?

 

I tried and tried and tried and tried these exact solutions over and over over a period of nine hours!!!!! From 1:30PM to 11:41 PM!!!! None of these two solutions work. The ONLY way to get this to work is for someone to log into my computer online and figure I tout because I CANNOT! It's quite impossible for me and I am DONE trying. I'm sick of fighting it. I don't get what the problem is! I've tried TURNING off all firewall, anti virus and anything else I can think of to NO AVAIL. I wanna go off into the corner and cry to death! I'm 63 year old disabled programmer losing my memory and I'd be the stupidest retard and loser in the entire world to spend another entire day of whatever time I have left STRUGGLING with your software!

Thanks for trying but I am not mentally stable and this damn fight has me considering suicide! I will probably keep struggling with it and will regret it for all the days I have left!

 

Hmmm just to clarify, this is not MY software, nor is it directly GamezBD software, although in a way it is but I am not a programmer and hopefully I will never become one. I am however truly sorry to hear about your problems in general and of course to make things worse this game is making you doubt yourself and your abilities, just remember one thing; Things can always get much worse

So you got as far as the "Now Processing" right before the game should let you into the Character creation screen or just after that?

 

You don't understand. I HAVE DIMENTIA!!!!! It's not a case of doubting myself. I'm watching pieces of my mind slip away. I wish someone would help. Is there anyone who can if I PAY them? It is impossible for me to fix this!

 

As ignorant as I am to your situation my first instinct is to say: "Have you tried asking friends or family?"

However I guess the answer is obvious since you are asking this forum and not them already, so how is anyone here on this quite under-used forum going to help you specifically is my next question?

You would have to get in touch with someone in your area of the world so you can talk the same language (if that is an issue), as well as being able to call each other up on the phone, all the way to the person actually coming over to your place and helping you out, however in this day and age most "young" people aren't much for socializing especially with "strangers" from a forum, so I guess that you have a whole world of problems besides this simple computer game not working

I really do not know buddy, if I were in your shoes in a moment of clarity I suppose I would try to find an actual person in my area to help me, or last but not least simply ask the government for help; as in getting a nurse to come over once or twice a week to help out?

 

Hey dude have u tried these?
Simply navigate to your game's install folder (you can find it by right-clicking the game executable and selecting the "Open file location" option) and delete the version.dat and/or the config.filecheck file.
Then do a force check it should redownload the missing files
Or try reseting ya router/modem or both then try again
Also try to disable msi afterburner or Rivatuner

 

In any case this game is not worth getting all frustrated over causing you worst mental state I fight withthis game on every computer I have. Sometimes all goes just fine and like now my machine has a new problem since I did a fresh install to win 10 1803.
I get to the point that walking away and coming back to it helps to get things figured out,, And if not it isn't worth the mental anger and stress. There are other games out there.
This game I think is complex as you have the file structure of it then you have the launcher, and file checker, then once you start it passes it off a security thing to the program for the load out and maybe then you get in the game. Oh and last off if your ISP or facility you reside at blocks torrents the your done cause to cut cost they use a torrent based system.
So many variants.

Be sure to remove any and all previous tries from location and extract fresh copy. Then try to launch to update the launcher and be sure you let it again complete the whole file thing and download to fix files or update. Make sure at 100% there is no uncompleted download going. You don't want to fool or rush it.
I found the fastest way to install BDO is to download the whole files then extract. (At worst you can try to extract and then D/l the Game Launcher for website too)
