game crashes

hey i just recently decided to try aion again, i can see all the old chars were deleted due to the merge but my main isssue now is why is it when i open the launcher, it updates..i click start..the game starts after the loading reach 100% is just closes?
if anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated. thanks

 

This happens to me when there's a Windows Update that has to be installed and my laptop needs a Restart, or when one client is already running in the background. You can check this by clicking Ctrl+Alt+Delete and then Task Manager. Close all clients and try to log again. You can also take a quick look to this guide about Common Errors & Fixes.
