afaik, gamezbd is going 2yrs this October is it just 1yr??

1 year. The anniversary will be on October 2nd.

@Carl We have reached the next phase of our project and would like to announce the schedule for beta end. For those who played over the past months may know we made it through a road of zombie apocalypses, clam pinatas and rainfall invasions as we made our way through game improvements.

While most of our major issues and unimplemented features are now resolved, Gamez Black Desert Launch is scheduled to take place on October 2nd 2017. We are aware there is still much work to be done and will continue improving user experience as best as possible.

There will be a reset of player data on the scheduled date for a fair start. After the scheduled date no more resets will take place. All active accounts above level 50 within the last 30 days of the scheduled date will be rewarded for participation in the beta.
