PVP only server with gear/level balance like instant max level wow servers

With some of my friends we are wondering why don't we have a server with instant level to XX (ie 60) and with instant full pen gear ?
Lots of people would join this server just to have fun at nodewars without having to grind in the majority of the time we spend playing the game.

This server could be setup, in way so the income for the GamezBD would be based on pearls and pearl items (cosmetic stuff, mounts etc). I know that this would attract a lot of players who would be willing to support the server and a lot of competitive players who are currently avoiding the game due to the heavily gear / level based PVP system that BDO has.

 

I actually like this idea, however it would have to be a completely seperate server from the ones in operation at the moment

Yes, of course, this would be a separated server dedicated to players only playing the game for balanced nodewars and PVP.

 

If it can be like gamezaion where you are instant high level + good starting gears, yeah it will attract more people.
BUT it should be a different server

That could be true, however, it could attract players who are currently not playing the game (like me and several friends of mine) to come back and support the server. Many WoW servers have really healthy player base on such servers.

 

+1 to this i have seen alot of private server that has this setup. i remember i was playing ragnarok online and mu online where there's instant max level and free softcap gears ready to gvg and pvp. the server economy is from skulls points from pvp kills. then you turn your skull points to buy cash shop gears like cosmetic,costumes,foods,refine material.etc and the server income to maintain it was coming from advertisement in their web browser where you get in-game daily points when you click the ads. that server is pretty much alive and really fun

 

Yes, and what makes me even more sure that this would be a hit and a really good income source for GAMEZ is that fact that I come from retail and been in the top siege guilds back then and I know that 90% of the players have quit the game, due to the heavily gear/level based pvp and non-stop grinding, even though all these people still rate this games PVP and Combat system as best in class, but the gear / level balance issues and the huge grind fest makes all of us not play this game in spite of all that. It's sad coz it could technically be the best PvP MMO out there, with the correct setup. But here, I see a chance that this could happen, it did on several WoW servers.

What's also makes me feel that this could be a good thing from Server / GamezBD hosting point of view is that most people who don't play the game, dont play it because of the heavy time investment required to stay competitive which they cannot afford while having jobs and families, however, most of us were putting shit loads of money into retail BDO (pets, artisans etc) and would be more than happy to use that money to support something less negative than KAKAO/PA.

 

so it will be similar to the KR BDO Cafee where you get the unupgradable "PEN" set and just to PvP ?
It could be made as separate server with its own channels - each channel will be diferent gamemode/map
so one for each siege map, one for RBF and idk ..
Hopefully it may take some people from farming spots to PvP there

 

Like I said the idea is good however it would greatly impact the number of active players in the servers we already have and if you want to introduce advertising it is going downhill incredibly fast. Advertising would pretty much kill the spirit of this site/community and many players would leave only due to that.

 

That's not completely true. Me and the people around me who are interested in the game are currently not playing on any servers (nor gamez, nor retail), but would join Gamez for such a server. This would be the same regarding all the people who are also keen on having such a server, but are currently not playing on gamez / retail anymore. So yes, it might have a somewhat negative effect on the player base on the current servers, due to people moving to the new one instead, however it would attract huge masses of new players, some of whom would actually join the old servers too and would bring a general exposure to the server.

From overall hosting perspective I believe this would bring a huge increase in GamezBDOs playerbase and income.

 

That's why I don't even stay signed in anymore not even with the free pearls.

Who knows, this dream might come true.
Everyone on the same par on gears full boss pen weapons, armor and accessories REMOVES dominance and it will be purely a skill based, tactics/mind games on wars!
But of course, we hope its on a new server IF POSSIBLE

Yes, sort of. And then have pearl shop items cost actual pearls which can be only obtianed via buying Gamez cash, to generate income for Gamez from cosmetic/quality of life items. And the players who are not willing to spend money on pearls can still have a very fair experience here, only missing out on the costumes/cosmetic stuff while still being able to rock PvP in good gear without having to grind all day.
